Do people really steal video doorbells when they end up on the video?
I suppose they do or they wouldn’t sell these anti-theft devices which BTW is what this review is for. This particular anti-theft device for Blink (and Ring) video doorbells is non-invasive with a container for the doorbell and a metal clamp that wraps around the door to adhere to the other side. The product includes extra screws and the requisite items to prevent any cosmetic damage to the door – so it is very renter friendly. That assumes the door has enough gap for the metal to wrap around it. In our case, the door does not have the gap, but we own so we will sand or shave off enough of the door to make it fit. This product also has a little hood for the doorbell that acts as a weather deterrent including sunlight that can affect the video quality. It also includes very good, detailed installation instructions. Highly recommend.
