Great product, not super heavy duty.
Works well, and even the mower attachment actually works. And is a great tool for getting basic trimming done, but may not be powerful enough to do the heavy duty jobs that a gas power trimmer can do. Will work well for maintenance once the big stuff is gotten under control.

Wheeled base is a waste of time
The string trimmer part is awesome. It’s lightweight and easy to use. The battery life is wonderful too. I love the charger is comes with. Works very well and is powerful. I love the sleek design. A couple cons: The trimmer string does not feed itself. So occasionally I have to stop and restring it. It’s not hard to do. Just annoying. And the second is the wheeled base. It is not adjustable to grass height and can’t get it at a comfortable angle. It also didn’t seem to cut as well in it. My lawn mower cuts the grass at 1.5 inches and this cuts it at about 2.5. The trimmer does fit in it with ease and nothing about it feels “cheap”. Overall, I am very happy with it. I just won’t be using the wheeled base. i personally wouldn’t pay extra for the wheeled base. Just go buy the trimmer. I GIVE THE TRIMMER A 5 STAR.

Weak power…not made for Texas vegetation. Keeps cutting out. Hard to hold the trigger. Not good for ground that changes slope on the go … Every time the slope changes it requires a manual adjustment of the head.

This is actually a pretty decent little trimmer/edger/weedeater, that can also do dual-duty as a mower for small areas.The whole thing comes together pretty easily, there are only 3 screws you need to attach yourself to get the guard on the end of the pole. Once you’ve done that, it’s quite easy to pick this up and use it as a weedeater, put it down into the little wheeled roller and use it as a mower for small areas, and pick it up out of that and attach the little wheel and use it for edging. There 4 included spools of trimmer line, and you can reasonably easily pop them out and replace them, and it’s easy enough to wrap another line around a spool. It has 2 batteries as well as a charger, so you can hot-swap a battery and keep going as long as you always keep a battery charging. The trimmer works well at trimming and edging and weedeating, and for mowing it does a decent job as well though it’s obviously not comparable to a dedicated mower. The whole unit overall feels well-built and very straightforward to use, and I’d say it’s a good value for an overall tool, especially for small or easy-to-care-for yards. It’s also easy to adjust the length and angle to suit your needs!The downsides of this unit are mainly down to the fact that this uses single-strand spools; this doesn’t work as well as double-strand spools do, since it’s only cutting half as much. This translates especially so to the mower, which sometimes ends up ‘pushing down’ the grass in spots, meaning you might have to go over spots a second time, especially if your grass is thick. Finally… The gloves did not strike me as worthwhile; and, the ‘garden hoe’ went right in the recycling bin because it’s like a foot and a half long and I just don’t need a hoe that requires kneeling into the dirt.* I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis.* I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review.* I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product.* I write exactly what I think about things – the good, the bad, and everything in between.* If I get multiple of something it’s because I regularly use and need both of them.* And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn’t hold up as expected.

Surprisingly capable yard multitasker for a small lawn
I have had this cordless trimmer for six days and it has already handled three full sessions around my quarter-acre property. Swapping from trimming to edging takes only a few seconds and both batteries have yet to leave me stranded; one runs while the other charges and each lasts close to forty minutes in my experience. The tool feels light enough that my arms do not tire, yet sturdy enough that it does not flex while I guide it along the walkway.The twelve-inch cutting path makes quick work of normal grass and weeds. I like the instant line feed button because I spend less time fiddling with the spool and more time actually cutting. The little mower deck is better than expected on short dry turf, letting me clean up the area the big mower cannot reach. On thick or slightly damp grass it sometimes pushes stalks flat, so a second pass is needed for an even cut. That is still faster than hauling out a heavy push mower.My only complaints are with the supplied line and the single string design. The filament snaps if it hits a buried stone and I have had to bump the spool more often than I would like. I plan to rewind it with a tougher line which should help. A self-feeding dual string head would have been perfect.Overall I am happy with the purchase. It trims, edges, and tidies tight corners without fumes or extension cords, and it stores in a narrow spot in the shed. For a small to medium lawn that is kept in check, this tool earns a solid four stars.
