Not what I thought it was going to be
This is not what I thought it was going to be. The ropes on it are definitely not long enough to be considered a tree swing. We had a very difficult time finding a tree with a branch that was low enough to hang the tree swing on.Also, assembling the swing into a tree was terribly awkward. The way the ropes go over the branch just didn’t make any sense and it made me feel like I was missing parts. There were no instructions on how to properly assemble it onto a branch safely. I couldn’t even find a video or anything online to assemble it properly. Not gonna lie made me feel pretty stupid. ð¤£This seems more for a large swing set or maybe even for a patio/deck.However, the swing itself is very strong, sturdy and comfortable. And my girls do like swinging on it.Would I buy it again? No. But that’s mainly because it wasn’t satisfying what I was needing it for.

Just a swingin, swingin!
Bought this swing for our backyard firepit area. It is made great and gets lots of compliments. String enough for adults and safe for kids! Great looking option for an adult swing.

Much better than a standard swing seat but still could have been wider
Overall this is a pretty nice swing. I replaced a standard âstrapâ style swing seat with this one. This solid seat is much more comfortable the the standard style and I think it should work fine for most kids but itâs still a little too narrow for me. Iâm about 6â2â and 220 pounds, when I sit on the seat I feel the attachment loops on my hip bones a bit. Itâs still much more comfortable than the seat it replaced but I wish it was a couple inches wider.Installation was easy and this rope style attachment is very fast to adjust. I will say that at the bottom where the two ropes leave the seat and come into one they donât seem to be even on each side. You can tell in the close up picture, I have the ropes adjusted so the seat is level and you can see the difference from one side to the other. It doesnât;ât seem to affect anything, Iâm just mentioning it.One other thing I will say is that on our swing frame the ropes have to be adjusted almost all the way down in their adjustment to get the swing seat as high as we need it. We donât have a really tall swing but itâs not a short one either. I know taking the upper quick links out would get me a couple extra inches of height also.Overall this is a pretty nice swing assembly but keep in mind if youâre getting this for a wider person the seat might still be too narrow. I will get a measurement and add to this listing later.

A swing that will last
This swing is sturdy. It comes with thick ropes and I know it’ll survive countless swings from children, teens and adults for a long time.

For children, I highly recommend this. It is too small for most adults
I wanted this for any of the children in my family who visit, but I didnât have a tree that could hold it. So, Iâve installed it under the roof of my somewhat open-air back patio. I built a faux branch extending into the patio from outside and hung the swing from it. Itâs protected from weather, within easy sight of the adult seating areas, and bordering on that part of the patio where the jungle and pond begin, within sight of the waterfall.It is a solid product, assembled with wood and steel and hung from ropes that could support a rhinoceros. The only issue is that the product page states that the swing is âIdeal for both kids and adults.â It isnât, unless the adult will fit comfortably on a 17 inch seat whilst swinging up and back down again with abandon. Before ordering I already knew this from the information on the product page, so had no reason to deduct a star.
