3k miles and going strong
I installed these after doing some head work on a 2008 328i. Iâve had no issues with these sensors but there are two things worth mentioning:1) Make sure the sensor is fully seated in the head. I somehow installed the intake sensor slightly askew. The engine still ran fine but I could hear a hissing sound while accelerating – it sounded a lot like a turbo charger spooling up (I kind of miss it). I eventually realized that the hiss was coming from the wonky cam sensor. I reseated it and problem solved! Totally my fault but itâs an easy mistake to make.2) Donât trust a bad cam sensor diagnostic code. The problem is more likely due to a failing VANOS solenoid. You can easily test a cam sensor with a cheap multimeter if you have any doubts. There a plenty of how-to videos on YouTube.

Honestly what could you expect for 11$ in todayâs economy ð®âð¨ð®âð¨ð®âð¨they lasted 25-30 mins in my x3 and they were completely toast waste of money I would have requested a refund but they burned out so quick I donât feel like removing them thought they would buy me at least a month ðð
