Lives up to the hype
I just have to say this tool completely blew me away (pun intended)! I got the Shark Glossi 2-in-1 Hot Tool and Air Glosser in the gorgeous Jewel Teal color, and I couldnât wait to try it out. Honestly, before even scanning the QR code on the box for tutorials, I dove right in without any idea what I was doing. And still, the results were amazing. That says a lot about how user-friendly this tool is!From the start, I noticed it heats up fast and gets hot enough to do the job well without feeling like I was frying my hair. I went straight from wet to dry, and it didnât take long at all, which is saying something because my hair usually takes forever to dry. What surprised me most was how smooth and glossy my hair came out on the very first try. It almost looked like I had just walked out of a salon blowout, even though I was just standing in my bathroom figuring it out as I went.Another big plus for me is how gentle it felt on my hair. Great hot air brush, ok for smoothing, excellent multitasking tool for travel.
Iâve tried several tools of this type and own Sharkâs interchangeable tool that also has this type of blower/smoother combo as an option. If you need a tool that does everything from drying to straightening and curling, this isnât it. However, it fills a niche for people like me who let their hair air dry while applying makeup. The hot brush works great on damp hair to quickly dry from root to ends. It does have a learning curve as you become accustomed to drying only with the portion of the tool that has that feature. The handle is much, much smaller than other combo tools, making it easier to hold with less fatigue.Once hair is dry, switch to the smoothing tool. You can either use it like a hot comb or incorporate rotation of the brush to create big waves. While it did not make my hair as smooth as a flat iron and I did go over it with a large barrel curling iron after, it did a pretty good job. If I was only going to take one tool for travel, this would be an excellent choice.

My girlfriend absolutely loves this brush!
Ordered this for my girlfriend and daughter and, after the very first use, they were in love with it!My girlfriend tucked her previous blow dryer and blow dry brush way in the back of our cabinet and said she has no desire to look back, since this thing apparently improves her volume and shine along with drying her hair and allowing her to twist/style it at the same time.. I will say I noticed her hair looked great after using it, so it does seem to work as advertised.My daughter wasn’t as immediately struck with love for the thing, but did say she enjoyed using it as well and that it works for her at least as well as the previous blow dry brush she was using.So, 2 out of 2 in my household are happy with this. I’d say it’s worth a shot!
