I’ve been a loyal fan of Shokz for years, and I own several of their products—including their amazing swimmable headsets, which have been a lifesaver during my pool workouts. But I have to say, the SHOKZ OpenOne Dots blow me away. Hands down, these are the best earbuds I’ve ever used!First of all, the sound quality is phenomenal. The clarity is something I didn’t even know I was missing until I started using these. The balanced audio is superb, whether I’m listening to my favorite playlist, catching up on podcasts, or on a call. The bass is deep without overpowering, and the mids and highs come through crystal clear. It feels like I’m in my little concert hall!Comfort? These are on another level. The earbuds are incredibly lightweight and snug, and I can easily wear them for hours without that “ear fatigue” you get with other brands. They also stay put, even during workouts or when I’m out for a run.What sets the SHOKZ OpenOne Dots apart are the thoughtful details. The battery life is excellent—I don’t constantly worry about charging them. Plus, they pair instantly and seamlessly with my devices, making the user experience much smoother. Another standout is the open-ear design that lets me stay aware of my surroundings. It’s especially great for outdoor use when I want to hear approaching vehicles or people, but still enjoy my music.Shokz manages to raise the bar continuously, and the OpenOne Dots are no exception. They’ve perfected the balance between innovation, usability, and quality. I’ve tried a LOT of earbuds over the years, and nothing else even comes close to these. Too expensive
The OpenDots are actually very nice! Compared to the Bose version, they come in at a cheaper price and almost the same sound quality. The comfort is all day long on my left ear, but on the right ear it tends start getting some fatigue. Battery life is good and the case gives you more juice if needed. The super cheap paper bag that Shocks provides to store your case in is garbage and you might as well throw it away because it will tear easily after one use. No charging block, but, they did provide a super short charging USBC cord. For the price paid as of this review, $213.95 is steep, but it’s cheaper than the Bose competitor. However, for $30 more the Bose version can be purchased and have better sound quality. That’s honestly the only 3 cons for these Buds, the cheap storage case paper bag, price and sound compared to Bose. However, the sound is still amazing if you don’t compare to Bose.

Holy hell, where have these been all my adult life
These things are a game changer. Open-ear design means I can hear my music and still know what’s going on around me—no more missing the doorbell or getting jump-scared when someone walks up. The fit is light and secure, they don’t hurt after hours of wear, and the sound is way better than I expected (Dolby audio really does hit). Battery life is insane—I’m charging them way less than any of my old earbuds. So easy to pair to my phone with the UI AppHonestly, I wish I found these years ago.

SHOKZ open clip-on headset shocks and rocks!I’m a professional musician and music film producer, so my demands and standards in how sound devices should sound are very high.I was quite skeptical because this is an open headset but I’m realy positive surprised how good those things sounds: full body and a very well balanced frequencies line. Not overweighted bass or pushed treble. The speach and the singer voice is present but not over.Confort:There is no right & left, so you can use whatever side you want gor both ears – the stereo channels are setting themselves automatically.The ear clips are so light and comfortable that after few minutes you don’t feel them anymore.Bluetooth connection:With my android smartphone, totally simple and quick.The connection remains stable and strong even when I was standing in another room, some 10 meter away.Battery life ist outstanding and the case gives you another two full charges.Conclusion:I’m extremely happy with this headset and it fulfilled all my expectations and demands. I love them and don’t want to miss them – always in my pocket.

Bought these and returned them to early in haste as I felt my Huawei freeclips sounded better.The shokz seemed to have a problem with the treble being rolled off too much and as I am 67 I need a little more to play with these days. Other than that they sound good,and we’re very comfortable to wear.Now my wife has a pair I thought I might have another play and am glad I did….I solved the problem as follows..Firstly enable Dolby on the Shokz app,then enable Dolby on your device but select a VOCAL and not music. I also tweeked the last two treble bands on the app equaliserThis for me solved the problem,lifting both the mid and high ranges.I now have a sound which is perfect to my ears anyway.Switching back to out of the box sound certainly confirms that they rolled the treble off a bit too much, as some YouTube reviews have commented on,namely ‘Gamesky’ who, apart from this liked the Shokz.Give it a try if you feel the same as me and have a play.My tastes range from Prog rock,Rock, NWOBHM, and some Classical from time to time.These buds seem to cover all of these genre’s which all sound fantastic to me…Try ’em, expensive yeah,but you won’t be dissapointed..😉
