Fine alternative to the higher priced brands
This is a neat alternative to the more famous, more-costly K-Cup single serve coffee makers. I’ve run it through both the single serve cups and coffee from grounds modes and I have been enjoying delicious coffee either way.Simple to use no matter which mode of coffee delivery you choose: one step insertion of a K-Cup and press your choice of brew button or a couple of scoops of your favorite ground coffee in the basket and then press the ‘on’ button. You’ll have a piping hot cup or mug in just a minute or so.The easy to remove reservoir holds up to 40 ounces of water which provides you with up to five (5) generous eight (8) ounce cups of java. If you prefer tea to coffee, you can simply eliminate the K-Cup or basket and let the hot water flow into you cup. Or, if you happen to have a tea K-Cup on hand (as I always do) you can use the usual K-Cup method to fill your mug or cup with some tasty tea.In my attached video you will see how the machine works at first time use. Turn the machine on by pressing the ‘On/Off’ button. Insert your K-Cup or add some grounds. Click the “OZ” button to choose your cup size. Then press for the brew strength you desire and the coffee will begin to flow.You can choose from six (6) different sized pours from as little as six (6) ounces up to the max of twenty-four (24). Just keep pressing the “OZ’ button to choose your desired cup size. You can also choose from three (3) different brew strengths: hot brew, bold, and over ice. I’ve decided that simple hot brew is my go-to but everyone can pick their favorite.Despite its compact space-saving size (10.3″D x 4.7″W x 12.2″H), you can fit a cup, glass, or travel mug up to 7.3” tall under the spout which gives you plenty to drink. There are two different size drip tray sizes which makes for easy clean-up and reduction of splashes. When you are using a shorter size cup you can use the taller tray so that your cup will be closer to the spout and cut down on splashing boiling hot water.Once you’ve downed your daily doses of brew, this machine features a self-cleaning function and a descaling reminder so that you can keep your brews fresh and clean. The only feature that I miss compared to the more expensive brands is the lack of a timer function. But, even if I have to hit the ‘on’ button every morning during my waking up haze, it’s not even a minor inconvenience.This coffee-maker is going to be in daily use in my kitchen. It’s certainly going to start my otherwise boring retirement days with a reliable jolt of caffeinated energy (but you can always go decaf if you so choose!).The kit includes a quick start guide, a recipe booklet, and a 1-year warranty card.

Very easy to use holds lots of water
We were needing a small coffee maker. We could take with us when we went on vacation. The last place we rented did not have a coffee maker and the boss just about had a meltdown so it was my job to make sure when we go somewhere that none of those meltdowns happen ever! I landed on this coffee maker. It is small enough to be able to put in one of the suitcases while it doesn’t call itself portable we’ve made it that way, but the water tank allows for quite a few cups of coffee in the morning, and it allows her to put her rather large travel mug underneath it and fill it up. We are not one for grounds so we haven’t used that portion, but the little cups have gotten a nice workout and it does brew a very nice cup of coffee. I have to say that this does make me wonder why some coffee machines have to be so big! It is very easy to clean. The quality seems to be very nice the prices probably on the higher range of what I would want to pay, but in order to make family members happy I would pay just about anything. This is a great little coffee maker and I think I may take a run at the cold brew eventually. I would 100% recommend it.
