Smart Display Base: Unlike other thermometers that require an app to function, the P2’s display base provides real-time readings and lets you set temperatures directly on the device. A smart app is also available, giving you the best of both worlds.
Unlimited Range via Wi-Fi: Many wireless thermometers are restricted to Bluetooth to connect your phone with the base, but the ThermoMaven P2 features advanced 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity. This lets you monitor your culinary creations from anywhere.
100% Wireless Freedom: Kiss tangled wires goodbye with the ThermoMaven P2. Roam freely with Bluetooth long-range connectivity, linking seamlessly from the base to the probes.
6-Sensor Accuracy: Equipped with 6 sensors (5 internal and 1 external), the precision of ThermoMaven P2 meat probe is NIST-certified, delivering ±0.5°F accuracy and 0.01°F resolution. You can confidently ensure your food is never undercooked or overcooked.
Two Ultra-Thin Probes: Allows you to monitor time and temperature for two different dishes at once. The ultra-thin design preserves the integrity of your proteins and retains their juices, ensuring perfectly cooked meat every time.
Effortless Cleanup: With a superior IPX8 waterproof rating, the ThermoMaven wireless probes can be safely placed in the dishwasher after use. Enjoy your meal and relax with no hassle!
High-Temp Grilling: The wireless meat probes simultaneously track both the internal meat temperature (up to 221°F) and the ambient temperature (up to 752°F) for accurate cooking results. You can safely keep the probe in place, even while searing, for continuous temperature monitoring.
Charge Once, Cook All Day: Base charges in 2 hours for 24+ hours of continuous use. Probes charge 2 min for 2 hours work. Perfect your cooking every time.
Customers say

ThermoMaven Will Lower Your Blood Pressure!
I bought the Thermomaven “P2” from Amazon for $109 US. They are selling the “G2” right now for $129 US. The main difference between them that I can find is that the G2 runs wireless on what is called “Sub 1” giving better ranges. As for the P2 range, it is awesome and more than plenty for me. I suppose if you have a large property or want to jump on your ATV and drive over to the next hollow to show your buddy Clevis your Butt Temperature the Sub G1 feature is handy. Found this definition of it:”Long Range: Lower frequencies, like those used in Sub-1 GHz, have superior signal propagation and lower attenuation compared to higher frequencies. This means that Sub-G signals can travel further and penetrate obstacles like walls and buildings more effectively, enabling longer communication ranges, which can extend to kilometers in some scenarios.”What I know is that without the Sub-1 I took my Base Unit for a stroll and held a signal for a long ways before losing signal, more than enough for my needs. I suppose the Sub-1 technology may have enabled me to get all the way to the Henderson Place but I don’t even like them or their yippy little Foo-Foo dogs. Now that we have the electronic mess out of the way onto the Probes and Performance. In a word, OK maybe two words. GAME CHANGER!I have always found smoking meat to be less than enjoyable as it should be because of second guessing actual temperatures because of unreliable, wired probes. I own a ThermoPro and an Inkbird. I grew to distrust the ThermoPro and don’t even get me going on the insidious, obnoxious mystery alarms on the Inkbird that sent my Blood Pressure into the Stratosphere. The ThermoMaven just works. What a concept. It seems to be highly accurate. It allows you to choose to set your Target Temperatures yourself or for you to let the App set them for you based on the meat you are working with. This trusting the App thing at first seemed a little naughty to me. Like I was violating some primeval guy code. Kinda like sneaking a can of Modela when you know that PBR is the firmly entrenched King Of All Barbeque Beverages.I am an unabashed convert. I have crossed over to the dark side. It’s full up get over my wimpiness and give up control to the Maven. She totally knows what she’s doing. My first cook was so relaxing and satisfying. The App tracks the time remaining to target temperature with precision. This is some pretty darn near critical news to have. No more, “Geez Louise! The corn is turning into mush! YOU TOLD ME THE MEAT WOULD BE DONE HALF AN HOUR AGO!” And that my friends is the power of the Maven. Forget the Bluetooth and the Wireless Range. Forget the pretty colors on the App. Just know this, you know when the meat will be done. The Maven even tells you when to remove the meat and tracks resting time. I mean, come on man!Just buy this thing. You decide on getting the fancy Sub-1 Ghz one or not. Just buy either one and turn your life over to the Maven.

Fantastic Probe – Better than Meater
I was an early adopter of the Meater brand probes and really liked them, but the biggest limitation with the early models was the lack of WiFi â the range was always an issue. After losing my probe, I decided to give this one a try, and Iâm so glad I did!Setup was super simple and pairing was effortless. At first glance it looks a lot like the Meater, but the real game-changer is the base station. Not only does it charge the probe, but it also acts as a monitor and repeater, bridging the connection from the probe to the app. That means I can check on my cooks from anywhere, without worrying about range limitations. The app itself is excellent â very intuitive, with lots of predefined temps for popular cuts and cooking styles. Everything just works seamlessly.Overall, this feels like the Meater but upgraded â better connectivity, reliable performance, and at a more affordable price. I couldnât be happier with my purchase!

Top notch thermometer: worth the read.
Iâm sorry, if you cannot afford this that is okay. If you missed out on the sale, I am sorry. For those still using those $20 Walmart poker thermometers⦠toss them away because THIS just took the trophies.I 100% fell for the targeting sale on this, am I mad? No. This purchase drove my co workers, and wife CRAZY because all I do is talk about how much I love it!My first thing I cooked with it was grilled chicken. The temperature was PERFECT and the prongs told me when it will be done, when to take it off the grill. And how long to let it rest. Came out at 167 after resting and was the most tender chicken Iâve ever had. Iâve been looking for nothing but excuses to cook now and the attached photos is a brisket Iâve been doing all day.The prongs have a long battery life, easy to clean, and I guess dishwasher safe but I find it easiest to just wipe them clean in the sink. The monitor that comes with it not only makes charging the prongs easy, but makes it easy to check temperatures at a glance. Also when itâs ready to be taken off the heat, the alarm is loud and will not stop until you stop it. This is great for overnight cooks that you donât want a charcoal pan and youâre a hard sleeper like myself. The app now. The app is crazy accurate, easy to use, and you can set all kinds of parameters of whatever you are cooking. It comes with a few recipes in the app, and the 6 sensors on each prong is really nice. 5 prongs in the food and one getting the outside temperature ensuring you have the expected temperature while cooking. This also is nice if you have a grill or smoker you can control from your phone. If you need to pick up the kids at school or take them to practice and your alarm goes off. You get the notification from anywhere! It is amazing how far the connectivity is.The quality of the set is the highest of the highest. The prongs are FRAGILE but if you are careful and take care of them, I expect it to last a long time.To wrap things up, Iâve never cooked food so exact in temperature before this. Buying this was a big financial mistake because now that I have such nice thermometer, I am now buying a new grill/smoker set so I can use these more and increase my cooking experiences. My opinion: buy it if you can, if you have any doubts just buy it, if you canât afford it, make efforts in a way to afford buying it. If you donât buy it, then you are not meant to be hosting BBQs and major cooking holidays just make salads.

This is a fantastic unit that had multiple temperature zones in the probes, and is WAY cheaper than the alternatives. The only downside is programing on the unit. In the app is easy, on the unit itself, it’s not very user friendly. The reason I don’t knock it down a star is that it works excellently. I have the GE Profile Indoor Smoker, and the thermometers work great. So I don’t think you have to worry about metal interference. The software is excellent for graphing your progress.Make sure, if you use the WiFi function, that you have your 2.4GHZ set up on your router. Most smart devices only use the 2.4GHz range, so you should set it up anyways.Pro tip, use the manual setting and not the smart setting. The smart setting will keep blasting notifications on your phone.

Must have product for any bbq enthusiast! I have used wired version in the past, but always found them cumbersome.I bought these to go with my rotisserie, and they work great! No setup required, just stick them in the meet and let them do their job. iPhone app works well, but quite often I donât even bother and use the base station to monitor my cooks. At this price they are hard to beat.I used them with the Kamado Joeâs JoeTisserie accessory.

Easy setup. I cooked four t-bones for the first time with these probes last weekend, each with different styles of cooking: medium rare, 2 medium, well cooked. They were all perfectly cooked, thanks to the precision of the probes and the ease of use of the app. Only little comment: while the font of the characters on the unit are well lit, they look ‘outdated’ compared to other brands….

Works get.The one improvement they could make is a shorter probe option

I have been very impressed with this unit, i’ve been using the meter plus for the past 4 years, but finally my frustrations with it caused me to look for an alternative. So after reading a bunch of reviews, I decided to give this unit a try. And I am 100% satisfied with this unit, first of all it has a base all to itself with 2 probes that do not lose connection With the unit every 5 minutes like the meter plus did. That’s the biggest difference. It has all the features you want and need in a wireless probe. For the price, this unit is as good as it gets.
