Perfect smart lock
Lock works perfectly no doubt about it. Finger print (biometrics) work perfectly, very fast response and also keypad.TT lock app is user friendly.Didnât know much about gateway and Bluetooth feature and Alexa capability.Door sensor, gateway feature sold separately and I donât know much about these features.Still my lock is working good. After six month I got a low battery warning. I replaced new one. Now working well.Performance, audio, lock quality are good. Perfect smart lock.

The Hornbill Customer Service department was very quick and professional. I ordered two locks from them and was running into some issues with one of the locks. Not only did they respond to my inquiry almost immediately, but they helped me troubleshoot the issue in various ways. When the issue was unable to be fixed, they offered me a full refund right away. I was very impressed by the way my problem was handled and how quickly I got a resolution. Even though I had an issue with one of the locks, I would definitely still purchase from Hornbill for the honest customer service alone.

Does not lock fully.
Waste of time. The physical lock does not lock all the way when using the keypad. You have to use the key for it to lock completely.Â

I bought Hornbill smart lock Dec 2024, works great with multiple options of entry and easy to use app.After 9 months I got through a problem like the motor starts to fail. So, I contacted Hornbill and they were very responsive and supportive.âNancyâ is amazing representative who walked me step by step to figure out what is wrong, I shared video with her and she was honest and told me the problem with the motor and they decided to send me a replacement.Happy with the product and I like how they are responsive and supportive.

3 Locks. 3 Failures
Great looks, easy install, functions well. BUT, they fail!!! My front door, 1 failure replacement and current lock is failing. Back door, 1 failure replacement and current lock is failing. I have 3 doors with these locks and 2 of the 3 doors have had multiple failures. The front door is on a large covered porch. I purchased these locks between 2022 and 2023. Now I have to replace all 3 with a more reliable brand. I do not recommend this brand.

I purchased this lock a few weeks ago and installed it not know how key pad locks work etc. first one I have ever installed and it was very easy. The lock works great!!Love all the features! The auto lock, key fob, finger print and key pad and phone lock. Perfect for my family!!Everything works as advertised and so does the app that I downloaded.I would recommend this lock to anyone.

Once I found the correct way of contacting customer service, the service was amazing. I lost the other keys (my fault entirely) and no hardware store was able to copy the 1 key I had. Running an airbnb means I have a back up key in a lock box should the batteries every fail. But I need a copy for myself should they also be lost in that case by a guest (or myself ). I got a response quickly and with some questions they are now sending me a replacement part along with keys! No cost. The lock itself is trusty and I really like it. I had some issues with it not locking but turns out it was a door issue with my wooden door expanding in the weather so can’t blame the lock. I’m able to set codes for guests and put expiry on them. Was easy to install once you drill the holes. I can rely on this lock. I like the look of it too. Good bang for your buck.

Very happy with this lock, it is exactly what I needed. When I first ordered the lock I had ordered a silver and quickly realized it was the wrong choice as it was a way different color than my handle. I contacted the customer support they are amazing. I was directed on what to do and got me a black lock instead super easy and no cost to switch. I was very impressed as this was cleary my own fault in choice but she was super helpful.Now having the lock for a while we are loving it no need to find key when your arms are full or make keys for family. The product dose have a year warranty and we had had the product for a year and we were having some battery/front plate issues, I quickly contacted customer service again and just like before they have been amazing to deal with. The issue was resolved and in the end we are still loving it.

The unit is very nice looking, was fairly easy to install and we added a gateway, so we can voice control with Alexa. One thing that we love is there is no monthly fee associated with using this lock. This was the reason we switched as the one we were using just upped their pricing. We were skeptical about fingerprint scanning, but it has worked great so far. The price was also good, as compared to many others on the market. You get a lot of value and options for the price. Highly recommend.
