Best unique lights and very affordable!
So far so GREAT! These are wonderful lights with tons of options. We use them at home on our patio, and bought 2 more that we use on a tent over a stage for concerts. Great vibes!

These lights are the coolest things ever. I really enjoy my patio with them giving ambient light at night. I can even make it into a little dance area for the kids. Only bad thing is that you have to be right up next to the plug in order to change the colors, I can’t do it from inside. The color combinations are absolutely awesome also

The quality of these are very good for the price. They look really nice, easy to hang and the app is pretty easy to navigate. So many different options for colors. We loved making our own pattern and light colors to display for Fourth of July.

Program to run lights is horrible!
These lights have the worst app, from the App Store, I have ever seen! Even the pictures shown before you download the app, on the App Store, are different than whatâs actually in the app. Also the pictures on the Amazon site have some differences as to what is in the app now. It seems as if theyâve taken stuff away from what you used to be in the app, from whatâs in the reviews on the App Store. There are absolutely no instructions whatsoever, any app or in the box on how to use the app.To sync the lights to music, there is just a little microphone at the end of the string of lights, by the plug, that listens for the music. So you have to have whatever music youâre listening to on that end of the lights or it cannot hear it . On the app, you can choose between four separate music type options for the lights to dance to the music with. EXAMPLE: rhythm or energyIn order to use the remote that comes with the lights, you cannot be very far away, or it does not receive the signal from the remote. Once you download the app, you can change the light colors and turn the lights on and off from where wherever you are, the distance does not seem to matter

Nice but the remote is awful.
These are really nice lights. Bought these for our campsite. Would have given them a 5 if it werenât for the Non user friendly remote. You have to be right on top of the sensor for the remote to work. Ended up having to download the app on my phone which I didnât want to do. We are keeping them being as though they have already been hung. But I more than likely would not buy these again due to the useless remote.

Iâve never found another set quite like them on Amazon. The color combinations are gorgeous, the presets (especially the rainbow) are super fun, and the app is super easy to use. As soon as I downloaded it, the lights linked instantly. Even better, when I bought a second set, it synced up with the firstâsame settings, no extra setup needed. It just worked. That kind of simplicity is rare.The only real downside is that you canât connect multiple strands together. I didnât realize that until I ordered a second set, so I had to run a second extension cord to continue the look across the patio. Not idealâbut honestly, still 100% worth it.Final Thoughts:If youâre even thinking about smart patio lights, grab these. Theyâre gorgeous, reliable, and seriously fun to use. Could be a great strand of lights-IF they fix the App
Positive: Lights look really cool! This product could very easily get a 5 star review, but they have to fix the app.Negative: Remote is clunky but works(only thing that is saving from a 1 star review).Now the App on the other hand us absolute garbage. I have been able to “find” the light strand a handful of times and it just won’t connect and let me change any settings. The app in the app store gets 2.8(LotusLantern). From reading reviews on the play store there has been an update this earlier summer that has effected its usability and connectability. Having an app and being able to control the lights from my phone was the determining factor on purchasing this strand.If App gets fixed I will change my review to a 5 star. Until then I can’t give it any higher then a 2 star review and recommend if you want control with an App to go with another product

Just got these hung up in our gazebo.What an upgrade from our basic patio lights that gave up at the end of last season!I’m having difficulty connecting via the app, but the remote control provides a great variety and is convenient to use.All the bells and whistles – like sound reactive modes and built in modes work.We hung them in an hourglass-style, covering 2 opposite ends and criss-cross across the top of a 10’*10′ gazebo.It fit perfectly and gives plenty of light at night.The brightest setting is pretty bright at night.It’s easy to set up and easy to use.Tip: from past ignorance shortening the life of past patio lights…extend their life by stringing them onto string or clipping into prehung string, so the wires don’t carry the weight if the lights.We chose to prehang a sturdy string and used paperclips to hang the lights for ease of storing in the winter months.

I bought two sets for the inside of our gazebo and I put them up today. They seem to be a good set of lights and have quite a few functions like keeping in time to my music (see my video).One thing I wasn’t thrilled about is one of the small lights flickers constantly unless its set to green or teal. Because of that one thing it’s not quite perfect so otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
