Good quality, does what it says.
These plugs work fine once set up. You can download their app OR you can download the Home Life app for set up. Once set up, Alexa automatically installs so you can use voice command via Alexa besides using the manual power button on the side of the plug. For set up, please note that these (like many other apps) only work on 2.4Gh and not on 5G. Since I have a dual router, that was no problem since I already use on 2.4Gh for other apps. These are clean looking, they work perfectly after 10 days of regular use and seem like a good value for the money.

4 Pack Wooaismart Smart PlugsThis is my first experience using any type of âSmart Plugsâ.With that said the instruction manual was easy to follow and has a QR code to scan for a direct link to the âSmart Lifeâ app. Setup was as easy as creating a new account and following on screen instructions.Likes:Makes turning on/off various things in my home with easy.Did I leave the light on? I can check right from the app.I also like that there is a âPowerâ button on the side of the plug so if someone else in the house wants to turn on or off what is plugged into they can do so without the app by simply pushing the button.I also like how easy it is to share access via the app with other household members.Dislikes:I wrong assumed that the app would give real-time energy use or even delayed historical energy consumption. I believe thatâs many other options available do provide energy consumed.Overall I have been using these plugs daily for past month or so and have had zero issues. I so far have only been using then with table lamps. Depending on whether you care about detailed energy consumption or not may be your deciding factor. The price on these seems reasonable for the functions that you do get.

These work but you must download their own app…
I get it everything has an App now but it would be nice if the majority of the smart plugs utilized the same protocols/apps so that you didn’t have to have ten different apps to control different smart devices… it’s gets really annoying.These don’t take up a ton of space but they do stick out from the wall a good inch. So factor that in if you have a dresser or an item that will also take the plug, you are about 2″ from the wall at that point. I have other smart outlets and how they get around this is by having the plug come out the side which seems odd but actually is wonderful especially when you are trying to scoot something up against the wall as close as possible.One other gripe is I wish these also worked at the 5GHZ range.

These little smart plugs make any of your home devices “smart”. It pairs up with Alexa after you install the Smart Life app. Once you get that done (easy) the world is your oyster. The only thing to watch out for is making sure you are on the same network when you are installing the plugs.Pairing this with Alexa is a super power because you can almost do whatever you can imagine. For example, I have fans that turn on and off as I get home based on my phone’s location with a simple routine. Old lamp that you have can turn on and off with voice commands now.8/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful.

I havenât had a chance to use them yet, but I am certain that they are going to make my life much easier as a senior citizen.
