Great product … Definately worth the price!!!
Hammock was shipped very quickly.. At first opening , I was very impressed with the size”very light and compact”. Comes with everything you need to setup and use..I had 2 problems with… Tho, it doesn’t affect the use enough to change my mind about the product. First was the that the tree straps wouldn’t fit around one of the trees I was tying it to.. Seeing tree, I was already doubting that it would.. But since I was camping, I had a length of rope to substitute(it was big willow tree about 3 foot in diamter .. thats lot of tree so I didn’t knock the supplied straps).. I was nervous to try it out.. I’m 6’2″ and 220 lbs.. It seemed too thin.. But after getting in , it’s was comfortable and strong! You’ll notice the double stitching and what noticed no stretch.. But the paracord tree straps did..Second problem was that after 3 days of use..sitting and laying.. The pouch began to come apart from the hammock..I had 2 bulging discs in my lower back that I had surgery on less that a year ago and slept great and didn’t have pain when I woke up!!! I definitely recommend the hammock!! Extremely great buy!!!!

    Great for the money
Pros :The hammock is very comfortable, it folds back up very nicely into the little pocket bag, it works (where i was camping there were a lot of mosquitoes) very very well, i didn’t get bitten though many tried. I could see them sticking their needles through the fabric trying to get to me.. which when there are a lot of them.. is kind of freaky. It is pretty light weight, i had no issues and was able to pack down and lower my overall bag weight. It is very easy to set up as well, this was the first time i’ve set up a hammock and it didn’t take very long at all. I am 6′ 200lbs and i had plenty of room in the hammock.Cons -The set up system, i thought was dumb, but that may well just be me. Tying two ropes together to make one to lift of the mesh instead of one rope… idk. Did’t like it. The mesh fabric is VERY fragile.. rips very easily, luckily my aunt is a seamstress and was able to mend it for me. They could have reinforced the netting just a bit to make it more durable and still have it be light weight.Overall i love this hammock and will continue using it until it falls apart, how soon that will be i don’t know. I would recommend this to anyone who is starting out with hammocks for the first time and doesn’t want to pay a ton. This could last a very long time depending on how long the netting holds up. But if the netting does go bad, it is quite possible i think to sew new netting on myself instead of buying a new hammock. The actual hammock construction feels very durable.

Very good hammock, sturdy, and great hardware for hanging,
I purchased this hammock recently for use backpacking and camping. It arrived in good condition, and on time. Quality is very good. I have not brought it on an actual trip yet, but I did set it up in the backyard to test it out. The fabric, while thin and lightweight, does seem very durable. I am about 200 lbs and while the hammock did sink a little when got in it, it felt very strong and supported my weight with no issue. I used elastic straps to tie the netting to the suspension system as some comments suggested. I feel this made it mush easier not to worry about there being too much tension on the hanging loops and netting. The hardware and cordage provided for hanging was very good. The D-Rings were heavy duty, and very sturdy, and the knotted ropes for hanging the hammock make adjusting height and tension very easy. I was able to set up the hammock and suspend the netting perfectly fine with the materials provided. One person can set this up very easily. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase, especially for the price. If you are thinking about purchasing this, i highly recommend it.

    great hammock
All of my friends are getting Enos for $100 bucks or over…. this hammock is much cheaper and still a fantastic buy. I used my hammock on a trip in the amazon jungle of Ecuador and the bug net protected wonderfully against bugs and critters. It is also extremely comfy and easy to set up. It’s a steal because this hammock is comfortable like enos and easy to set up like enos but is so much less expensive! If you dont want to use the net just flip over the hammock. Fool proof to set up, sturdy, and easy to pack up, comes with everything you need! I am 5’8″ and 130 lbs and it’s incredibly sturdy, but not sure how it would be with someone heavier!

    great hammock, mediocre netting suspension
Pros: the hammock is lightweight, setup of the hammock itself is fast, and it adapts to a variety of tree sizes. The simple paracord tree attachment system is simple and easily adjustable. It also stores very conveniently in its own drawstring pocket, making it convenient to take anywhere. It’s essentially made of the same material as most tents, and while cool in summer heat and humidity, is a bit thin for colder weather sleeping without adding extra blankets or a sleeping bag.Cons: the provided netting suspension cord is difficult to quickly set at the proper height per the instructions, taking far more time to set up correctly than the actual hammock itself requires. Set the suspension line too low and the netting drapes on you. Set it too high, and the netting loops tear off, ripping holes in the netting. As a temporary solution, tie the netting suspension line without running it through the loops, and use low tension clothespins to retain the netting to the line. This will allow the netting to slip off without tearing, and can be arranged once you are already laying in the hammock.

    Works well
My husband used this hammock on a backpacking trip recently. He seemed to like it. His only complaint was that it was too cold- no insulation on the bottom side of the hammock, so now he’s searching for a hammock underside blanket. Live and learn. He also felt the straps you wrap around the tree seem a bit flimsy, so he’s also searching for new straps. But the hammock itself is nice and the mosquito net works well.

I was skeptical about ordering the snugpak as this would be my first ‘camping hammock’ I’d have the experience of ordering. However after reading many favorable reviews online I decided to chance it- and am not disappointed.Extremely easy to set up, super light weight and one of the easiest set ups and take downs ever, I would definitely recommend this product- especially for the price.Must be noted though that I have only used this a few times, and the material does seem pretty weak so I cannot comment on the long term durability– but so far so good!
