Quality tool adapters, but a bit on the pricey side.
I don’t see these being a frequently used item but for me they come in handy adapting my 3/8 torque wrench for use with my 1/2 and 3/4 sockets. Most of what I’m torquing down tends to be composites and plastics. Very large nuts with low torque ratings. It’s near impossible to find a quality, large-drive torque wrench with accurate low-end torque values that doesn’t cost a fortune. this set solves my struggle.Excellent set of up-sizing adapters. They are a bit on the pricey side for a set of adapters, but the quality is there to justify the cost. They are certainly rugged feeling enough to use with an impact driver if needed. The built in magnets are strong enough to keep the adapters stacked together when needed without making them a nightmare to separate after us. they’ve got decent tolerances as far as fitting the drive sizes and are very easy to use.overall, these aren’t an “every mechanic/every job” kind of tool, but when you need to adapt drive up in size, these really hit the mark. Two Thumbs up in my book!

Very handy!
These adapters are super handy for close quarters jobs! The magnets in them arenât the strongest. They will keep a 1/2 impact 10mm socket on them hanging but anything larger itâs more just to keep them from slipping off them holding them tight. They are way lower profile than standard impact adapters! There will be super handy! There is a hole for the spring ball retainer but not a cut in for a snap ring setup⦠it fits on them just doesnât secure them tightly. They also donât have a retainer for the sockets other than the magnets, so make sure you donât loose a socket in an engine bay. They would be perfect if they had a few more magnets!

For what they do, they do it pretty well!
First off, I am not a big fan of up-sizing from tool to socket. Downsizing, such as a 1/2″ ratchet to a 3/8″ socket, is no problem, but going the other way has a pretty limited application.That said, these adapters are about as space-conserving as is even possible. They hold the ratchet (smaller side) incredibly well, and they have a pair of magnets in the base that are, I think, to hold the socket because they do not have a small ball bearing for this purpose. All in all, an okay compromise in order to get an adapter that is as small as possible. It has a secure fit in sockets and will do the job if, for some reason, you find yourself with too small of a breaker bar or rachet for the job.

Perfect low profile tool
If there were more stars, it would get a 10/10 from me. They are low profile which helps to get into tight spaces. Its really great when you need a bigger size but do not have much space or if you want a bigger wrench for leverage but have to use a smaller socket. It s just a beginning use but they fit tight on sockets and wrenches.

Great low profile adapters.
This EYX socket adapter set is a lifesaver for tight areas. I got these adapters because I don’t use a ton of 1 inch, so it makes more sense to keep my 3/4 drive stuff and a 1 inch adapter for the few 1 inch drive sockets I need.The set has 1/4-3/8, 3/8-1/2, 1/2-3/4, and 3/4-1 adapters. There are magnets on both the drive side and sockets side for retention. The socket side magnets are not very strong and will not hold a large socket vertically but that’s pretty much my only gripe with these. They save a ton of room over traditional adapters. The machining on these adapters is high quality and the fit is perfect. The steel is quite hard (a file just skates on the surface) so I have no concerns about durability.This set actually costs less than a decent quality set of traditional adapters. If you think you’ll be working in tight spaces, these can save you some headaches.

The magnetic retention could be a little stronger.
I wouldn’t consider these a must-have tool. These are really going to come in handy for very specific situations. You’re only able to go from a larger drive down to a smaller drive. Normally when I need to adapt the drive, I’m always going from a larger drive down to a smaller drive, 1/2 down to 3/8. These adapters are the opposite going from a smaller drive up to a larger drive. The magnets could be a little bit better since there is no ball retention to hold the socket in place. But they do add very little to the length of a socket, .15 in or 3.5 mm. And they are impact rated.

Perfect compact adaptor set
These socket adaptors are awesome. They did everything right when designing these. The metal is beefy and very durable. I’ve used these on several different projects and they’ve worked flawlessly. It easily lets me step my 1/2″ impact wrench up to 1″ for some larger fasteners. The other thing that’s great is they are magnetic, so they hold onto the tool and themselves. This means I can have them nested in my toolbox and they take up very minimal space (picture attached). I do want to point out the magnets are adequate but aren’t super strong so just be careful if you’re working overheard with people below! You wouldn’t want a heavy impact socket to fall on anyone/anything. But all in all I give this 5 stars as it does the job well and is a great value.
