Perfect For My Dump Trailer Battery – Easy Install – Well Made – Nice Size
I have a 6 x 12 foot dump trailer that uses a battery to power the hydraulic cylinder to lift the dump bed. It is a deep cycle battery made for this type of use. The trailer is parked normally away from any power outlets so using a plug in charger normally isn’t an option. This 20W solar panel keeps the battery topped off so the trailer is ready to use at any moment. After a number of trailer dumps, putting this solar panel up, even on cloudy days, with have the battery back up to full charge in less that two days. It is an excellent little panel that does way better at maintaining the battery than I imagined. Well worth having. Well worth a full 5 stars!

Good product and exceptional support!
This was my first (& second & third) Solar panel and definitely aided in my learning experience! The 30W panel with MPPT worked exactly as advertised. It trickle charged my LiFePO4 battery as expected, and the easy mount was great to work with! So why 4 stars?First, there are no specifications provided for the MPPT controller. Granted, support was amazing and sent me the full spec sheet but some of that information should be included here, up-front. Primarily, the description needs to include what the max solar load the MPPT controller can support (50W). This leads me to my second reason — there is very little room to grow!If you’re looking for that slow trickle charger with manual feedback, this is perfect! However, I found that, in real-world use, I needed 80-100W of solar power to do what I needed so this controller just wouldn’t cut it for me (had to buy another unit instead).Overall, while knowing what I know now, I would have never purchased this FOR MY PROJECT. But it doesn’t change the facts about this unit — it is a good product with a great company backing it (I should know – I have 2x 30W panels and a 20W panel in use!).Summary:Pros:- Good build.- Long power cords with SAE connectors.- Lightweight, angled mounting hardware.- MPPT controller works as advertised.- Great for trickle-charging batteries [for long-term storage].- GREAT customer support!Cons:- No real room for growth.- Company doesn’t sell JUST panels (must be in a kit).- Controller doesn’t offer any remote monitoring.

Works great though rare it shows fully charged.
Used on my boat battery. Seems to work as expected. I leave cables connected so I can plug in as needed. Nice lkttle unit with cables. I bought a second one for my mower batteries shortly after getting the first one. It seems rare that it shows fully charged, but may be my batteries. May use on my camper batterry to keep it charged but it is new so dont really need it yet.

Handy little solar device
Great little solar panel! Used it to charge our 4-wheeler battery and it worked great!Very easy to set up. Solar charges even in low sunlight (overcast) itâs small enough to pack with us and take. Connects easy and weather/water doesnât bother it.

It only half works, then quits
I tried writing to voltset before writing this review, but their website wont accept my inquiry. So their website is working about as well as their product…. it only half works.The product works, and charged my battery the first 2 days, but only to about 60%, and after another week, it has not charged it up any more than this. A 12v SLA battery should be 12.6v at full charge, but it will not get past 12.2v. I believe the charge controller is set incorrectly. I suppose for long term battery maintenance this is fine, but I was expecting a solar charger with the controller limiting current at or near full charge.
