Easy to set up, great for small items
I was really impressed with how easy it was to install the Sorbus Floating Shelf â the instructions were clear, and everything I needed was included. It only took me about 15 minutes to get it up on the wall, and it looks great! The minimalist design fits perfectly with my decor, and it’s perfect for displaying small decorative items like candles, picture frames, or small plants.The only reason Iâm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that itâs not ideal for holding anything too heavy. I tried placing a couple of larger books on it, and it started to sag a bit. So if you’re looking for something to support heavier or bulky items, this might not be the best option. But for light decor, itâs a stylish and easy win!

EDITED JULLY 12TH 2025 (See last part of review)Sure, they make of MDF, but nowhere does it mention that they are hollowed from one end to the other!I ordered them planing to use heavy duty âLâ shaped brackets to make sure the shelves will hold as much weight as needed.I also ordered the brackets I needed from another seller.There is no way I can use the heavy duty brackets I bought to secure these shelves to the wall correctly.Other MDF shelves I bought from other seller before were always solid MDF boards, never hollowed. It never even occurred to me that this was possible. So I wish it was mentioned in the itemâs description before I ordered.I also find them flimsy and certainly not worth 92$Returning them will be too much hassle for me since I live far away from any drop-off shipping centre.EDITED : I just took the plastic wrap off the shelves to find out one of them is missing a plastic piece that is needed to secure the shelf the to metal bracket.

Easy to install. Highly recommend to find a stud to secure it. The plugs that it comes with aren’t great, I suggest you buy better ones. Other than that these shelves look quite nice.

Still creates a bit of a gap even after screwing the wood to the metal anchor. No way to tighten up gap.
