It is easy to assemble
Ok, so the directions suck…That said, start with the door panel (make sure the arrows on it line up with the arrows on the end pieces) and then add panels one at a time till you get back to the door panel. 5 screws per panel. I started with the center screw, then added the two screws to secure new panel to previous one. Then add another panel. When you get to the final panel, tuck it under the door panel and then “pop” the back end down and add screws. Once you do a couple of panels you will realize the assembly is very straightforward. I used the center divider to give it extra rigidity. The legs just literally “snap” together. It really is that easy, not kidding. Slide the axle through the drum and screw to the legs. Done. Took me a little over 20 min. An electric screw gun would really speed things up.Once assembled it is quite sturdy. The center axle is large and will support a loaded drum well. The drum spins very easily. The doors tho small are more than big enough for my big hands. I add a little every day, no problem.Everyone should compost. It’s good for balancing your veggie gardens soil. Even tho we have an unlimited supply of aged horse poop (we have Rock Mountain horses) compost fills in other gaps in soil balance. Basically start with dry, than alternate with wet/dry/wet/dry. Tumble once every 4 to 7 days. Depends on heat and moisture. (hotter and wetter you turn more often) There is lot’s of information on composting, well worth reading up on it. At least read about what you CAN’T compost. Do this and you will be fine.Even tho we’ve had this for a short time I am very pleased. No more turning a compost heap. This is luxury composting for me 🙂

Great for beginners
This was pretty easy to assemble. As for sturdiness, you need to make sure the weight is balanced in each compartment, otherwise it will tip and start to bend the legs. The panels seem to leak a little.I haven’t had any issues with the legs holding all the weight and it has not tipped over at all.It takes some effort to turn it, as you are flipping all the weight over, but if you rock the bin back and forth, you can gain momentum to make the rotations easier.

Wish I had more
Like everyone says the directions are bad but it’s easy enough to figure out. I’m on my 3rd batch since I got it and love it and plan on buying a second. I will say even though it splits in the center so you can alternate and create a new compost pile I just use the whole thing at once and is the reason I plan on buying a second. If you put too much in it, it will rock while rotating but it’s not too much of an issue. I’ve found buying a cement mixing tray from Lowes or Home Depot works best for unloading it. This was my first time dipping my toes into composting and I was not disappointed. I’m sure you won’t be either.

Easier if 2 people are involved in putting it together.
Assembly of this product may seem daunting and complicated initially. Don’t let that intimidate you. Assembly is made easier if two people are involved. Once you attach the door frame and the first Main panel to the side panels, assembly becomes straightforward. It may seem that the installation of the middle panel falls out of place and doesn’t want to fit. I am referring to step 3 of the assembly instructions. As you proceed with the installation of the main panels, the middle panel will adjust itself and we’ll begin to fit into place where it should be. Here are some tips to make it easier to put this product together. Assembly is made easier if you place all of the parts in an orderly fashion as noted on the parts list. Put all of your screws and nuts in a bowl. Make sure you have the proper screwdriver. It will take some time to put this product together. Please note that there may be two screws and nuts already attached to the side panel. Once complete, one will realize what a great product this is. I highly recommend purchasing this Tumbling Composter.

Leaky
Assembly was not that difficult, according to my husband who has a lot of patience for putting things together. It spins well. Too well. I wish it had some sort of lock because it moves too easily when we are trying to dump scaps into it. My biggest complaint is that it leaks! Thereâs disgusting brown juice leaking out all of the seams even though they are screwed in as tight as they can go.

Horrible assembly instructions, great product
The assembly instructions are ridiculous. Whomever wrote the guide forgot that the target audience has likely never assembled this product before.I recommend having a Phillips screwdriver for assembly (no mention made in the instructions about what tools are needed).None of the pieces are labeled, but donât panic when the metal frame doesnât go together right away. All of the pieces are there, but you have to hunt for the correct orientation. Also, the order matters when inserting the screws, and donât forget to install the screw in the middle of each panel even though itâs never mentioned in the instructions.Despite my frustration with assembly, the compost tumbler itself is fantastic. I did purchase a second thermometer for the other side of the tumbler (it only comes with one, but there are two separate sides). Itâs very easy to add kitchen scraps and give it a spin.

Instructions are NOT helpful
My daughter and I put this together but we tossed the instructions to the side and started winging it. The instructions are only there to confuse you more. You will want a phillips head handy. Once it was assembled it was worth the price and work for it. My only gripe is it could really use a handle on the side to help turn it. Once you have some weight in it you feel like you are spinning the wheel on the price is right. Speaking of the price is right, I think this purchase is worth the money. I cant wait to see how well it works in the long run.

Sturdy
For the most part I like this composter. Putting it together is a pain, I am not sure if I could have done it by myself. The sliding doors openings need to be bigger. When you get it put together it is fairly sturdy. Would I buy it again? Probably yes. At this price point it’s not a bad deal.

The directions are not very helpful. Watched a You tube video which helped greatly since I was doing it by myself. Took one hour and it was easy to follow the video. Seems to be of good quality. Time will tell.
Great purchase, so far no problems. Easy to assemble. –
Love how itâs easy to assemble, hardly takes a lot of space. However once the tumbler is heavy and trying to turn it, the stand moves around, needs to be screwed into the ground or use weights.

The thermometer is something I would use for a turkey, not compost. The probe isn’t anywhere near long enough to get to the centre of the compost in the tumbler once it’s full, and that’s where I’m told I have to measure to make sure it’s cooking properly. The tumbler itself seems good, except I do wish there was a stopper for the little doors. They slide out too easily, usually leaving gunk all over some part of me.

Works great! Was a little hard to put together as instructions are vague/poor but once itâs together, it seems to be a good sturdy product.

The assembly instructions were not good had to backtrack putting screw but seems sturdy.
