Some of the tools don’t stay in there spot when you move them in the case

Nice complete set of standard and metric tools
I have been looking for a complete set of tools that had metric and standard for each type of tool and kept coming up short. This pack delivers both in wrenches, sockets, Allen, wrenches, and has multiple sets of pliers and ratchets. Also has multiple extensions. This will handle the 1/4 and 3/8 and 1/2 drives. Most of the wrenches are multiple size meaning that because the way they are made you can pick up one wrench and it will handle multiple different standard and metric sizes all in one. Great concept and great hardshell case to keep all your tools in.I did notice, however, when I opened the case, several of the sockets were laying all over the inside of the case, instead of being in their designated spots. Some of the wrenches were not pushed all the way down into their slots. The small bits were not completely seated all the way into their respective cases and one screwdriver had fallen out and was laying across the other tools. Not sure if this is from multiple drops or if it was just assembled this way. However, that was a fairly easy fix to get everything back in place where it needed to be.The only flaw that I actually did find, however, was two of the tools were duplicates of other tools, which means I am missing two of the tools that were meant to be in the case.The first one was one of the pliers. Instead of getting the 10 inch pliers wrench instead, I got a duplicate of the 10 inch groove joint pliers.The second one was one of the multi wrenches. Instead of getting the size 11 – 7/16, I ended up getting a duplicate of the size 13 â 1/2.I will probably reach out to the company and see if they will correct those two tools so that I will actually have a complete correct set. Overall, if you are looking for a complete set of tools containing standard and metric sizes for each type of tool, then this may be the set you are looking for.

Solid Set of Tools For The Garage
I got this 312-peice set to keep at my girlfriend’s house so I wouldn’t have to keep lugging around my tools when working on projects at her place.However…….I really like this tool set. It has almost everything you’ll need for general auto maintenance and home DIY projects.First thing: The size of the case is bigger and overall heavier than I was expecting. Which, isn’t a bad thing! Just beware that it’s not a set that you can just toss around.Also, if the tool set does get bounced around, a lot of the smaller sockets will come out of their spots, which could cost you some time organizing and putting them back into their spots. Most of the other tools snap tight into the case.I really like the printed sizes on the sockets. They’re highly visible with good contrast with the black finish.The sockets fit well and lock onto the ratchets. Push the button and gravity will remove the socket. I can’t tell you how nice that is when you have some oil on your figures!The Christmas after I turned 16 and got my license, my father got me a tool somewhat like this. Not as many options as this one, but it had a lot of sockets.I still use that tool set to this day and has been one of the most useful gifts I have ever gotten. That was over 25 years ago.So, will this set last a lifetime? More than likely, yes.I’m not a tool expert or anything, but I feel this is a quality tool set that will last the average handy-type person a lifetime. The black finish will wear off over time, but these are tools, so what? They’ll still get the job done.Note: 5-Star ratings from me represents that a product meets and/or exceeds my personal expectations for and not limited to functionality, build quality and price.

Comprehensive set of tools that will compliment most workshops
My wife saw this tool set when it arrived and immediately accused me of being spoiled! …I agree! This is a nice set.The quality of the individual tools seem to be very good. The sizes and quantities cover a wide range of uses and seem to be appropriate for most workshops. I think the black tools look very nice. The toolbox itself is fairly heavy, but not so much that it is difficult to lift. The tools I’ve used so far seem to function as they should… there are no surprises in that regard. Each tool seems easy to use… again, no surprises there. When you consider the price of similar kits, this seems to be an excellent value. These tools will serve me well over the coming years, I am confident of that.If there is one downside, it is the case. When the kit arrived, many of the sockets were loose inside the case. To me, this indicates that when the kit is transported things are not held firmly in place. This can lead to a lot of frustration. I will need to find a solution for this before taking it outside my workshop.

Really Impressed
I was a bit wary of any “tool kit” that comes in a blow molded case. To me that screams “home-grade”, but so far every tool I’ve used in this set has been excellentâat least up to pro-sumer grade. I wish the wrenches weren’t universal sizes and they just gave me metric and SAE, but they work fine. Just a bit more play in the fit when you use them on in-between sized nuts. The mini-bolt cutters are genuinely good. Perfect size for that tool, since I’m never cutting giant bolts. The wrench pliers are decent. Not as good as the brand they are knocking off, but good enough that now I’m not sure I’ll need to buy the name brand any time soon. Everything is made of good steel and feels very durable. I wish the hex wrenches were longer.But all in all this is a heck of a value for money.
