Great Guitar Hangers with a Minor Wide-Neck Issue
These guitar hangers are fantastic! Theyâre sturdy, easy to install, and securely mount my guitars on the wall, freeing up valuable floor space. The padded arms protect my instrumentsâ finishes, and the sleek design adds a stylish touch to my music room. They work perfectly for both my acoustic and electric guitars, making it easy to grab one for a quick practice session. The only downside is that they donât accommodate wide-neck guitars well. Still, I highly recommend them for most guitarists looking to display their collection safely and elegantly!

Show of your guitars with great wall hangers
I recently picked up a few String Swing guitar wall hangers, and I couldnât be more impressed. The quality is top-notchâthese hangers are made from solid materials and feel incredibly sturdy. Once mounted, I have no worries about my guitars falling off the wall. The design securely holds the neck of the guitar without causing any damage, and the padding ensures no scratching or wear. Installation is a breeze tooâvery simple and quick, even for a DIY novice like me. Overall, these hangers provide peace of mind, are aesthetically pleasing, and hold my guitars safely. Highly recommend!

Does exactly what it said it would do!
I have a nylon-string classical guitar and a Peavey EVH Wolfgang electric guitar, so I ordered two of these to hang them up on my wall. They’re well made, the wood finish is nice, and they come with all you need to mount them. You don’t even need a drill. The screws themselves can just be pushed and screwed into the wall, even if you’re screwing into a stud. The idea is that you screw the screw in, and if you don’t feel it biting into wood after half an inch or so, you pretty much know you need to remove the screw and use one of the drywall anchor plugs that come with this unit. The plugs have a pilot ‘bayonet’ which you tap into the hole left by the screw with a hammer or something (not that much force is required though), then use a philips head screwdriver to screw in the anchor plug. My first bracket required one drywall anchor because I missed the stud (I don’t have any kind of electronic stud-finder, so I was limited to just knocking all over the wall to figure out stud location). It worked fine with the drywall anchor. The second bracket I was smarter and found a vertical stud. Both guitar brackets mounted really solidly and give me a lot of confidence that they’ll hold up well. For the classical guitar, the neck did fit the bracket but it was a bit too tight a fit to easily hang/remove the guitar, so I bruteforced the arms open about 1/8th of an inch, and that really did the trick, the guitar is securely hung but I can easily lift and remove it from the hooks without undue rubbing on the neck.Overall, my room looks fantastic with these guitars hung on the wall, I love the way it hangs the guitars out from the wall slightly – my electric guitar is about 3″ off the wall, and the classical having a hollow body is about 2.3″ away from the wall, which prevents any kind of rubbing against the wall.I can’t fault these brackets at all, they were cost-effective and the wood block looks good, and I loved the way the included fixtures didn’t require any drilling. This is American-made at its best.

Great quality, strong, shaped just right
I was debating these vs the locking ones and decided to go with these. I made the right choice. They look lovely, hold instruments with various shapes and sizes of head, and have a non foam surface which is supposedly better for more delicate finishes (none of my guitars have nitro finishes but itâs nice to know that these will be safe(r)).Installation was quick and easy. I ended up putting a backing board up as my studs were too far apart for what I wanted. I used screws with tighter threads that I bought from Lowes.I like the way the hanger pivots to maintain guitar center of gravity. It holds my Tele no problem. Even my little ukulele.Note that when you screw in the hanger into the wood base, do NOT screw all the way in! It is supposed to be a little loose. If you see the little black rubber spacer behind the hanger severely compressed, youâve screwed it too far. Iâve seen a few reviews complaining that the hanger screw sticks out the back too far. The reason is because they screwed it in too tight. Itâs supposed to be a little loose, so the hanger can rotate depending on the headstock shape. All in all very happy with the purchase. Now to go get more guitars!

Can’t beat String Swing. Trusted Brand. Nice Hangers.
These are perfect little hangers. They look nice and do the job. This brand is also nitro-safe, even though none of the makers will say that officially. My Les Paul hangs on one with no ill effects.

Works fine, looks good.
Neck holder is a little thin and not adjustable. Otherwise, a fine product. Good quality materials.

I already have several guitars on Hercules hangers but these guitars are on show in the lounge so have be less “plasticky” and show more guitar than hanger (see pics). I used much longer rawl plugs into a solid wall than the ones supplied. I would have taken a star off for this but the quality is excellent and I’d never hang my JD bass on anything that’s going to drop it on the floor! Excellent value and nice wood too.
