I have hand strength issues and I do my crafting and a very small space, and there’s always a clutter of items while I’m creating. When I was building my ink pad storage system out of foam core board my glue gun cord kept getting in the way and I got so frustrated I could spit. That’s when I decided to shop for a cordless glue gun. I watched YouTube videos until I was blue in the face and read everything I could find. I wasn’t willing to buy something with a battery pack or something that was commercial grade because I really don’t use it that often. I watched several good demonstrations of the surebonder cordless 60 glue gun, and though there were some negative reviews, I took the plunge. The price was right and the trigger looked like it would accommodate my declining hand strength. Was my old guns my hand would begin to shake uncontrollably when I try to squeeze the glue out. I set it up today and did my own test. This baby gets HOT, the glue flows well when you pulled the trigger, and it’s easy to use. You do need to follow the directions about putting in your glue sticks and letting them sit in the chamber while it warms up for 5 minutes because I believe if you are in a hurry and can’t give it time to do its job that is what causes a lot of problems. I set a timer for 5 minutes and it was ready to go when the beeper went off. Then I put it back on the dock just because I needed two hands and I start of the stopwatch on my phone. I was gluing all kinds of scrap cardboard and cardstock together and it didn’t become difficult to squeeze the trigger until it was approaching 6 minutes off the dock! At that point the glue was cooling off a bit, the bond was a little bit more lumpy than I would have liked, but that far surpassed my expectations. I did not get any dripping on the glue pad, I feel confident laying it on its side with the wings so that the glue does not back up into the loading chamber, the indicator light lets me know when it’s on, and I don’t have enough good things to say about this piece of equipment. I am storing my ancient full-size and mini glue guns just in case I have the occasion to have a group crafting session somewhere. all in all I would recommend this to anyone who wanted a cordless glue gun and didn’t want to pay contractors prices for the big name brands with the batteries that you can change out for different power tools. also I didn’t want something that you could plug into a USB outlet because I don’t have one near my paper crafting desk and it would have been very inconvenient for me. This is a win-win purchase.

Very nice glue gun! It heated up within 5 minutes, the trigger was very easy to use and the stand has a silicone mat to catch the drips. My hands have lost their grip power and I drop things all the time, but this glue gun was very lightweight and easy to hold onto.

Great Glue Gun â Heats Fast, Works Smoothly!
This glue gun heats up quickly and hasnât clogged on me once, which is a huge plus. The cordless feature makes it really convenient for crafts and DIY projects. It gives a steady flow of glue and works exactly how youâd want it to.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it takes two hands to remove it from the base, which can be a little awkward during use. I also wish it could stand on its own while still plugged inâhaving that option would make it even more user-friendly.Still, overall itâs a great product and Iâd definitely recommend it!

The Surebonder Cordless Hot Glue Gun has been a great addition to my tool collection. It heats up within just a couple of minutes and maintains its temperature well â I can easily use it for several minutes off the stand without any drop in performance. When it does need reheating, it only takes a moment.Itâs worth noting that this model doesnât have a built-in battery. The stand itself is what plugs into the outlet, and you just press the glue gun down to lock it into place for heating. Personally, I donât find that to be a downside. Without an internal battery, the glue gun is much lighter and easier to handle, which makes it more comfortable for longer use.The stand includes a fold-out drip tray that prevents hot glue from getting on your work surface â a small but really practical feature. I also appreciate the integrated on/off switch, which lets you keep it plugged in safely, and the insulated tip that helps protect against accidental burns (though, of course, you still need to be careful near the nozzle).Another thoughtful touch is the pair of small plastic wings on the sides of the glue reservoir. Love this glue gun. the drawback is the little pad where the glue drips. It is not big enough and the glue drips off the pad. Other than that, it works very and is very hot.

Great product. Unfortunately doesnât say it doesnât come with uk plug. However I just used a kettle lead from my camera charger. I did start a refund because when I searched for info on the manufacturers own website I realised this model was under £20 so was annoyed Iâd spent £42. Once I bought some glue sticks I was more than pleased with the performance of this product. Nice & light yet doesnât feel cheap. Once you get used to trigger pressure the glue flows really well.

I have used this glue gun for years now, i love it. I did need a uk plug converter, but once sorted, it was working perfectly. You can unattatch and use free hand or plug cable straight into the glue gun.I would recommend it! It is still going 5 years later 🙂
