My 3 weeks of experience with this item!
I recently purchased and tested about 3 weeks since I purchased about 3 weeks ago. For me, it has been a great addition to my smart home setup.Good stuffs below (also cons will follow after this ;)- As a non-techy(?) person (esp me, lol), the entier setup was incredibly straightforward, taking only about 10 minutes to pair with my existing devices. The vast code database made the process smooth.- I love the convenience of controlling up to 25 devices, including both IR and Bluetooth options. It has significantly decluttered my living space by replacing multiple remotes.- The ability to set up custom scenes is fantastic. I particularly enjoy the âLeave Home Modeâ where my devices automatically power down, and my little itti bitty smart Robovac starts cleaning.- Integration with Matter is a game-changer. I can now control my Philips Hue lights and IKEA curtains seamlessly through the SwitchBot remote.- The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 150 days on a single charge. It provides peace of mind, knowing I wonât have to recharge frequently. I think it has motion sensor or movement sensor since I noticed it turns on the LED when I lift or grab the remote which was great!As not all products are perfect there are some cons as well:- The initial connection with some of my older devices took a bit longer than expected. While the extensive code database is helpful (I have attached screenshot of the app), it required a bit of patience to get everything working correctly.- Although it works with many devices, it would be nice to see support for even more brands in the future (more likely U.S. based), particularly for newer smart home products.Overall, this one was a solid investment (imo) for anyone looking to streamline their smart home experience. It brings convenience and efficiency to managing multiple devices, and the long battery life is a definite plus. Idk why it has some negative reviews, it might be not for someone who doesn’t undeerstand any of technical products like this. For me? well, highly recommended, with just a few areas for improvement!

Good remote with unstable wifi hub
The remote works well and consistently but the WiFi hub constantly looses network connection. My WiFi is UniFi set to only 2.4ghz so it should work properly.The signal is strong and everything else on the WiFi works flawlessly and consistently.Half the time the app does not work away from home.

Consolidated Control for Your Media Room
I was initially hesitant to purchase this because I noticed several negative reviews about the standalone universal remote, but I decided to give it a shot.I’ve been looking for a universal remote for quite some time and Iâm pleased with the this remote and hub bundle so far. My media room setup includes a speaker receiver, projector, laptop, and Alexa Fire Stick, and this remote has successfully consolidated all these devices into one manageable system. The ability to seamlessly switch between HDMI1 and HDMI2, especially with the recent firmware update, was a nice touch. The IR learning function allowed me to combine my TV and sound system remote functionalities, which has proven to be very convenient.

The SwitchBot Universal Remote Control offers convenience but comes with significant drawbacks. It struggles with compatibility for some IR devices, requires a clear line of sight, and has a limited range, making it unsuitable for larger setups. The app feels unintuitive, and advanced features often require the additional purchase of a SwitchBot Hub Mini. Its inability to handle RF signals, a tedious setup process, and flimsy build quality further detract from its value. While it integrates with voice assistants, this setup can be cumbersome, and its price-to-feature ratio lags behind competitors like BroadLink or SofaBaton, making it less appealing for those seeking a seamless and versatile remote solution.Update: After Firmware Upgrade:With the recent software/firmware upgrade, I was able to connect more devices via Bluetooth, allowing me to control my Sony Android TV, Google Chromecast, Android projector, and more. Additionally, I can now manage my Matter-enabled lights through HomeKit. In short, this upgrade lets me control almost all the devices in my room with a single remote. For its price, Iâm extremely impressed with its functionality.

La télécommande est tâelle compatible complètement en Belgique?En faite la télécommande avec hub mini nâas reconnu que mon Apple TV mon ampli Denon,récent pourtant, mon décodeur Proximus, ma TV LG récente également, n’est pas répertorié sous les numéro de série respectif.De plus lâapprentissage des bouton des télécommandes original nâont pas fonctionné, elle nâas reconnu que 2 appareils sur le le bouton power pour conclure je nâai pas eu dâimformation sur le moyen de réinitialiser la télécommande sous format sortie dâusine.Pour la région géographique ou je suis résident elle nâa pas encore été mise à jour je pense que le produit est trop jeune.Jâai déjà essayé une autre marque que SwitchBot mais à part Logitech Harmony rien dâautre ne fonctionne pour la région.Derniers mots je nâai pas pu effacer lâenregistrement de mon AppleTV de la télécommande universelle.A savoir, produit a faire évolué pour les numéros de modèles ,ainsi que pour les appareils sous Androïd ,pour ce qui est des produits Apple TV le format international ne pose pas de problème.

J’ai récemment fait l’acquisition du Curtain SwitchBot 3, couplé au Hub 3, au panneau solaire et à la télécommande. Et je dois dire que l’ensemble est une véritable réussite.âPoints forts :âInstallation d’une simplicité enfantine : J’ai pu tout installer en moins de 15 minutes sans aucune difficulté. Le manuel est clair et les tutoriels vidéo sur le site de SwitchBot sont très utiles.âPerformance et silence : Les SwitchBot 3 sont incroyablement silencieux. Mes rideaux s’ouvrent et se ferment de manière fluide et discrète, même le matin, je n’entends rien. La puissance du moteur est largement suffisante pour des rideaux assez lourds.âLe Hub 3 : Le cerveau de la maison connectée : C’est la pièce maîtresse du système. Il permet de contrôler les rideaux à distance, de créer des scénarios (ouvrir les rideaux au lever du soleil, les fermer à la tombée de la nuit) et de les intégrer avec d’autres appareils intelligents (Alexa, Google Home). Il est très réactif et n’a jamais déconnecté.âLe panneau solaire : Une autonomie illimitée : C’est un accessoire indispensable ! Plus besoin de se soucier de recharger les SwitchBot 3. Le panneau solaire assure une alimentation constante, même par temps nuageux. Ottimo prodotto, ben fatto. In mano da lâimpressione di essere robusto e di qualità , ma nello stesso tempo leggero. Lâhub ha la funzione di autoapprendimento dei comandi di qualsiasi telecomando IR e la possibilità di comandare altri dispositivi Smart tramite HOMEKIT. Io ho inserito il telecomando del mio TV Sony di 10 anni fa, quello dei condizionatori Daikin e dellâAmazon Fire Stick. Può essere collegato ad alexa e rendere Smart dispositivi vecchi comandati tramite telecomando IR.Inoltre mia figlia di 6 anni ha imparato ad utilizzarlo immediatamente per la semplicità dâuso.

Rápido y eficaz, se vincula rápido a la aplicación, y en mi caso lo he vinculado a su Switchbot Locker Pro, tardó unos pocos segundos en vincularse y auto-configurarse ya que él mismo aplica a un botón que sea para abrir la puerta (quitar cerrojo y abrir picaporte) y al otro para cerrar (poner el cerrojo), los botones se pueden intercambiar para que tú decidas cuál prefieres para abrir o cerrar, pero para mà gusto, podrÃa tener alguna configuración más (por ejemplo desbloquear cerradura pero no llegar a abrir el picaporte ya que desde la app te permite eso) o que no obligue a poner ambos botones a la cerradura (por ejemplo me hubiera gustado uno de ellos para sólo desbloquear cerradura SIN abrir picaporte y el otro para una luz con un Switchbot bot entre otras opciones).Me gusta que venga con unas pegatinas de On Off y otras en blanco para escribir, es un buen detalle para no tener que escribir en el aparato o pegarle papeles con cinta. También tiene un detalle extra que me parece muy bueno, aparte de su soporte en la pared de donde puedes ponerlo y quitarlo, tiene un hueco para ponerle un colgante (como el hueco que traÃan los teléfonos para ponerle detalles) y asà poder llevarlo colgando por la casa, siendo cómodo por ejemplo para abrir/cerrar puerta desde cualquier sitio de la casa para una persona mayor o algo o incluso para encender/apagar luces o meterle escenas.Compra recomendada para usuarios de Switchbot que ya tengan varias cosas de ellos
