Great Camera
The picture quality on this camera is amazing! Itâs extremely easy to use and set up. The battery life surprisingly last rather well been good for a few months now and I have it at an apartment so it dings quite a bit. The only thing I wish is that it would pick up at a little farther of a range and record a little bit longer but Iâm sure thatâs probably something I can change in the settings if I took the time to look. Definitely worth every penny.

Better than the Ring Doorbells and you don’t have to pay for a subscription
Really impressed with this doorbell. It’s HUGE, however, but that might be because it has massive batteries in it for up to an 8 month off power battery life. Picture is crisp and I couldn’t believe how well it covered my porch (downward vertical) my Ring doorbell couldn’t get anything but the top of the step. This nearly gets my entire front porch except the 2 feet immediately beneath it. I added a 256GB card, wired it to home power. Doorbell rings without delay (unlike the Ring) and it comes with a wireless doorbell I put in my den where I can never hear the doorbell.I haven’t really tailored all the advanced detection features and just snapped the zone in tight to my front door, however, it’s got human, animal and vehicle detection. Instantly polls my phone (unlike the ring) and it generally works with the Alexa Show (though I think my Alexa is getting a bit long in the tooth and needs an upgrade. Or a hard reset) but everything works good overall. I haven’t paid for the online component, as I have my own storage and it works better than any other unit I have tired. For the price, it cannot be beaten!

Reasonably priced â everything works great!
Everything is working fine. No issues with the camera, picture is clear, sound quality is good, easy to set up and the cloud recording works fine. No issue with connectivity, and internet speed. Battery drain is a little bit of an issue, but I think thatâs due to all the activity. Need to adjust the motion, person and package zone so it focuses on a specific area. One last comment, the cost for the cameras and the cloud storage are very reasonable and way cheaper than Ring!!Update 8/23/2025FYI: OK, camera is working fine, picture is clear but with the amount of activity at my front door the battery drains very fast. I adjusted the zone to capture a small area but again the battery drains rather quickly. Charging the battery is not difficult, but it does take time for the battery to get up to 100% charged.

An overall great Doorbell/Camera
The D210 is yet another great smart doorbell from Tapo.Like all Tapo products install is very straight forward and the instructions are easy to understand. In the box youâll get a few mounting options such as the flat mount, which is what I used, a 15° vertical angle wedge and the hardware needed. The 15° vertical wedge adapter, would be used if you needed to have the camera pointing away from a wall, or if you want to get more in view from either the left or right side. I personally wish it would have also came with the horizontal wedge, which would be good if it was being mounted on angled vinyl siding.Picture quality is fantastic, I absolutely love the wide angle view over the fish eye view that the D130 has. I have had it installed for over a month and with a fair bit of traffic where itâs installed, it still has 80% Battery. Iâm anticipating between 4-5 months of use before it needs to be charged again, keep in mind that in high traffic areas, and constant use, will drain the battery much faster. Local Storage is by far the best part. While TP-Link does have the option for cloud storage, Iâd much rather have all recordings stored locally. The included chime is nice and loud and the option to change the ringtone is nice, especially for holidays.This is where I have to take some points away from D210. My first con is with the battery, not so much the battery but the lack of being able to connect this to existing wiring to charge it. The D210 is strictly battery based, and will need to be removed to charge. This may not be a big deal and/or may in fact be the only choice someone may have, but at least having the option to connect it to existing wiring would have been nice, like the D225. The second con is that in direct sunlight/lighting, the video can get washed out. The third con is more with the Doorbell Video Call feature of the Tapo App. I have a love/hate relationship with this feature as it works when it wants to. For example, I have a D130 installed at my fatherâs house. I also have an Amazon Echo Show, with the Tapo skill. When the Tapo Skill is enabled, the echo pulls the video feed and allows you to talk right away, but my phone keeps ringing, and if I answer it, it gives me an error stating the feed is already in use. Itâll also ring on my other devices, like my iPad which keep ringing nonstop. Thankfully with the latest version of the Tapo App, v3.7.1 as of the writing of this, they now allow you to change the notification type between the Doorbell Video Call to Standard Push Notifications.Overall itâs a great doorbell, with a great camera. I wouldnât necessarily use this in a high traffic area, but if you donât have a choice, itâs still worth every penny.

Quelle caméra! La qualité d’image est spectaculaire. Mais il faut surtout parler de la grande simplicité d’installation! Wow! Quand j’ai vu le guide de démarrage rapide, je me suis dit, “ouais, pas sûr que ça sera aussi simple…”. Bien oui, c’est tellement simple… Une fois l’application en route sur mon téléphone et la sonnette en mode “ON”, tout se fait pratiquement automatiquement; le plus compliqué sera de retrouver le mot de passe de votre réseau wifi, :-)Ce que j’apprécie le plus, franchement, c’est le fait de pouvoir accueillir mes visiteurs tout simplement en répondant à la sonnerie de mon téléphone. Et mes visiteurs me confirment qu’il comprennent très bien ce que je leur dis: le son est excellent, et c’est la même chose de mon côté. La seule chose qui m’a causé souci fut de trouver où se cache l’option ‘antivol’: il s’agit de l’option qui déclenche une alarme dans le cas où quelqu’un essaierait de partir avec votre sonnette. La documentation en ligne qui accompagne la sonnette indique que cette option se trouve dans le menu “Paramètres”, mais il s’agit d’un autre modèle de sonnette… Dans le cas de cette sonnette-ci, il faut aller dans les paramètres, puis choisir “Sonnette”: vous y trouverez l’option Antivol.

Montage makkelijk. Er zijn handige plaatjes bij om de bel in verschillende hoeken aan de muur te bevestigen. Ondertussen 2 weken in gebruik en batterij staat op 95%. Wel best een micro SD-kaartje bijbestellen. De binnenbel is wel enkel geschikt voor een Amerikaans stopcontact, best dus ook een stekkeradapter VS – EU bijbestellen.

Con esta función, no es necesario que abras la app como en RingTiene muchas otras funciones y por ello estamos más que contentos con la compra.Muy recomendable
