With very few acceptable caveats, these things are great!
Snug fit on the mount on the handle – a small gap, but no wiggle whatsoever. The bristles are potentially more comfortable than the Sonicare brand ones (this is for a sonciare toothbrush, which does not tell me the model number on the brush). It has the modes for “white” “clean” and “gums’. The ONLY minor downside – which I believe is far outweighed by the lack of plastic and increased sustainability (why else wood – get it? – anyone buy these?), the bamboo is a little grippy on the cheeks and corners of the mouth initially. This improved greatly after a few brushes, but will likely happen again on the next brush. All told, I am amazed at the quality of the brushes, especially compared to reviews of other bamboo brush heads, and the initial grippiness can be managed by not closing your mouth as tightly around the brush as you might be accustomed to. Just make sure you’re leaned over the sink, cause that can get a little messy. But WORTH IT! Will be buying again if this review doesn’t make them sell out!

Don’t buy
Wood is rough, unfinished. After a couple uses, it no longer stays on the toothbrush, the wood starts to feel dry and splintery. Just buy these instead https://a.co/d/6P3Fr34

Donât not recommend. Made with raw, unsealed bamboo.
These are pretty terrible. The wood is raw and unsealed so it feels rough in your mouth. I logically knew I wouldnât get a splinter from it but I was kind of worried I wouldnât the couple of times I used it. Because itâs unsealed it also doesnât dry if you use any kind of a brush cover for it. I donât even want to think about how much bacteria would build up over the 3 months between brush head changes. Ewwwww. The only reason I have it a two is because I do like the bristles. I felt like they got my teeth very clean while still being soft and not irritating my gums.

I really wanted to love these but…
I really wanted to love these. I actually had a dream that someone would make these one day so I disnt feel so badly disposing of a plastic one each time I needed a new one.When saw that these came out, I jumped on the chance to get them!Unfortunately they are not what I’d hoped for.1. The bamboo isn’t treated or polished at all. It is raw and drying. It absorbs the water from the inside of your check and sticks to your cheek. This is a minor inconvenience that I could get past. A little discfort for the planet is no bid deal.2. The brush head is thicker. It takes up more space in my mouth which again wouldn’t be a big deal if it wasn’t so drying. I would also still use these of this was the only two problems.3. The inner compartment, which attaches to the Sonicare, gets stuck on the Sonicare and the brush head comes loose off of it. It is completely useless after this happens. Each brushhead has done it sooner then 3 week of usage. That’s just not sustainable. One of my brush heads was used only 6 days and had to be trashed.Alas, I will be moving to biodegradable plastic heads which aren’t really biodegradable. A bit of greenwashing to make us feel better.Hopefully, humble will improve on these but sadly I will not waste more money on them.I was hesitant to write this review but after this morning, my last head of the pack broke after 6 days, I felt I should probably add this to the review list to help others make an informed decision.Good luck and thanks for caring about the planet.

Great idea
Love the idea behind these toothbrush heads. I was very excited to receive them and move further away from disposable plastic. Unfortunately the bamboo is a little rough. This sounds trivial but it becomes irritating on the lips and tongue with use. Think popsicle stick. I am not ready to give up on this idea but hopefully a smoother option will become available because I am not going to be able to convince my family to use these long term.

Batch snafu. GREAT customer service response
Iâve been using Humble Co.âs flosser picks for several years now and theyâre great. Hereâs the lede: after an issue with this product, the head of operations at humble directly reaches out and fixed the issue. Combined with their company goals, products, this level of support is enough to strengthen my support of their company and strongly recommend.Background: We were excited to add the bamboo sonicare replacement heads to our medicine cabinet. Turns out there was a batch manufacturing issue at the time we ordered these and when we started using them this month found the same issue others did with the roughness of the bamboo causing discomfort in the mouth and lips.I reached out to their customer service team, and within 5 hours their head of operations directly reached out via phone to resolve the issue. He noted there was a manufacturing issue that they attempted to intervene with but their product was already in Amazon warehouses. He refunded the product amount and offered to send free samples and a replacement of the heads, with the issue fixed. Excellent timely response and canât wait to try the replacements and report back.

Fall off the toothbrush
Use to love these but for the latest pack I got 2 of the heads just randomly fell off the toothbrush.Bought again to give them one last try, brush head started almost too tight and very quickly became too loose and the bristles were randomly falling out. Will not buy again.

Effective and eco conscious
These are actually better than the plastic ones they replaced. Theyâre not as firm (less wear on gums) and seem to remove plaque better than the âname brandâ ones. Plus for the same price you get 4 instead of three!Win-win-win!
