We met Leo in book 1 of the series, where he discovered his new girlfriend was using him to get access to his friend Bennett & his company. Heâs recently hired a new assistant, Jules, who is smart, efficient, and has her own agenda. He doesnât remember (she thinks) that theyâve met before, when she thought they had a spark, but he appeared to move on to another woman when she went to the restroom. Not eager to trust men, Jules really wants to run Leoâs hotel; when he needs a fake fiancée to attend an awards show it appears they might have a reason to negotiate. Lots of angst, happy times, then the inevitable misunderstanding, and eventual HEA. Getting lost in Louiseâs stories is so easy, and they go much too quickly!

Loved the meet-cute
Different. Fun. Unexpected. This was one of the most interesting meet-cutes I have read in a long time. I loved it. Then to have that followed by an interesting story, I am thrilled. Lately it seems like I am finding nothing but boring books. So finding a good story that caught, and held, my attention was refreshing. Can’t wait for Sophie’s story.

Fun Romance
Louise Bay is a master at creating endearing characters that you really want to see succeed in every way, happy and in love. Jules Moore and Leo Hart are two such characters. Once I began to read their story, I couldnât put it down.Jules shows up at a party, dressed in the costume of a favorite comic book character, blue paint and all, before she realizes that it isnât a costume party. Whoops. But Leo Hart digs that character and is enthralled by the woman painted blue. A little snafu in timing has her see him putting another womanâs number into his phone, and Jules leaves without a word. Two years later, Leo has hired her not realizing that this is the woman who disappeared from that party, whom he cannot get out of his mind. She knows who he is, at least she thinks she does. Jules is there because she wants something from Leo. Now, she has to make Leo want something from her.The plot thickens.What a set up! I just love the authorâs fun storylines, lovable characters, sexy situations, and terrific dialogue. “Happily Ever After” guaranteed!

Something about a British MMC that makes my toes curl. I love that Louise Bay doesnât waste time with extraneous details. She tells us what we need to know about characters to make them likable and get us hooked. This would make a perfect beach read!I loved following along with the FMC â her struggles with her family and her determination to get what she wanted made her endearing.And the MMC, besides the British backstory, is a dreamboat. He seems like the type of guy you could very easily fall in love with, despite that he has his own struggles that take time for him to overcome.I love the elite world of upper crust NYC billionaires, and this story brings a bit of that to life. Enjoy!

Well written, fun fake fiancée romance
The writing was excellent in this book. The dialog was smart and funny. For a billionaire fake fiance trope, this is one of the best. All the characters actions were understandable. There werenât evil, mean nasty people. There are villains but not super dramatic. The hesitancies of the characters about risking their hearts are real. The characters spent time together to build up the romance. It wasnât just all about sex. The ending was a little bit rushed but it was still a fun read.

I loved this couple! They meet first when Jules is dressed for a costume party that wasnât really a costume party and the chemistry was perfect. Two years later Jules is Leoâs assistant, but Leo doesnât remember her because she was in costume when they met last. Jules and Leo stole a deal where she pretends to be his fiancé to fool his ex and in return heâs giving her a chance to manage his hotel. Leo isnât the player she thought he was and they develop a friendship that becomes more. There are some twists and sweet sexy moments and great interactions with their friends.

Leo ruined me forever
He could be my ultimate book boyfriend. He is the perfect combination of sweet and hot, thoughtful and driven. Jules is a woman driven to succeed, a woman with a plan, and a woman with a tender, wounded heart. The arrangement they make – fake fiancee in exchange for Jules’ goal at a top job, creates the setting. But, oops the pesky feelings start to grow on both sides. Their surrender to a physical relationship is the stuff that dreams are made of. The rain, the balcony, the night, the aftercare. Until Leo and Jules arrived my favorite of Louise Bay’s books (and I have many I love, having read her entire library) was the Duke of Manhattan but Scarlett and Ryder just became “first runners up”. My single complaint is that Louise Bay can’t complete a book a week because I certainly would be happy to read one. It’s why I keep rereading favorites. Highly recommended.

This story contains everything you want in a novel. There are the main characters who get a second chance at a relationship. There is fear and insecurity from both from other relationships. Jules has abandonment issues from her dad. Leo had an early failed relationship with a rich girl making him doubt his self worth. Enjoyed this story!

Fantastic fake fiancee love story that you can not put down!! Love this series and this group of men that are loyal friends!! Leo and Jules have had many disappointments in the past so they have a hard time trusting people!! When the two agree to help each other, they grow close and fall in love!! As the agreement ends they can not trust the love they have for each other!! Grab this book and enjoy the journey this couple go through before finally admitting their love and getting their HEA!!

I loved this. Read it in a sitting and delighted to see more Louise Bay books. Have read plenty fake engagement romances but this author does an amazing job making the whole scenario believable. I also enjoyed her relatable characters and appreciated self made success stories. Every good romance has a glitch but I felt the author did a great job of not making this a drawn out nasty overly dramatic saga. Chemistry and steam perfectly woven into the narrative without being forced . Highly recommend for lovers of this genre… downloading more from this author and looking forward to reading them all.

Wow, Leo has been burnt before and is having a hard time letting it go. (Maybe a bit obsessed) He feels used and trust does not come easily. Jules worms her way into his life and they now have a transactional relationship. This was a fun read. Very enjoyable. I really loved Leo and Jules was perfect for him.
