Over the past year, I have had Shingles on several occasions, so I can relate to the burning and itching associated with them. Shingles is caused by the same virus that caused chicken pox when we were kids. Shingles not only attacks people who are aging, but also people with compromised immune systems or who are under physical or emotional stress. But I know of some young adults who have gotten it as well.

Respect this book
I read this book and was amazed at how many times the information was spot on. From different home remedies to Dr. visits and medications I found I was already doing some of the common sense procedures. It was helpful to have confirmation of my own efforts and to have more ideas to try.

This was a very easy read. I had come down with a case of shingles,and was wanting to learn all that I could. It was helpful to me to read this;I feel like I learned some things from reading this that I did not previously know.I would say, buy it; for the cost, it is worth the read.

The book is easy to read with lots of homilies and home remedies. It’s a compendium of plenty of information easily found in a short internet search. If you have had shingles and you are searching for a solution, you’re not going to find it here primarily because it doesn’t exist. The pain of shingles is excruciating, and you’d think there would be a solution to the nerve pain it involves – not yet. Not in this book either. I gave it a second star because, even though it doesn’t provide solutions, it is a pretty good, easy reading summation of the home remedies you can find on the internet without having to go to all the other places. And, the price is right. But I found little that made this worth even its low Kindle price.
