Great for tennis elbow
I was skeptical about this but it has been great. The twist exercise targets exactly the spot Iâm getting tennis elbow pain from and itâs already feeling better after just a few days. It definitely targets those muscles that are causing the pain. You can do those excercises with other things if you had to but this item is convenient and purpose built so I say itâs worth the buy.

Superb for recovery on golfer’s elbow (from mountain biking.) Simple concept using tyler’s stretches (see youtube.)

Big improvement in tennis elbow after about 6 weeks
After 6 weeks of physical therapy appointments and dutifully doing the home exercise routine and stretches for tennis elbow with no improvement, I found a New York Times article that reported very impressive results from a study of people with tennis elbow using this device to do an exercise called a “Tyler twist,” and decided to try it. I chose the red one and it seems to have been the right option for me, a moderately active young woman. The manual that comes with it pretty clearly explains how to do the exercise the Times article mentions. I’ve been doing 3 sets of 15 daily for the last two months or so, and while my tennis elbow is not cured, my pain has decreased dramatically. Now I can’t definitively attribute the improvement to this exercise, maybe it was just a coincidence. The orthopedist told me there’s basically nothing you can do about tennis elbow but wait, so either he’s wrong and this thing is miraculous, or it was just my elbow’s time to feel better. At $15 I’m not losing sleep over the uncertainty.

This really works. I bought this at the recommendation of my PT practitioner. I have pulled it out again at a later time. Use it and follow the instructions. It totally eliminates tennis elbow.

Stopped early tennis elbow from progressing.
I was in the early stages of tennis elbow and using this seems to have stopped it in its tracks. Only been a week but so far so good. Will update over time!Iâve been picking up tennis and I went up in practice time too quickly. That plus poly strings at 55 pounds were too much for my arms tendons.This tool has helped me recover and keep playing!

Fantastic product. I’ma big ol’ child, so doing corrective exercises to combat the stressors of adult life working 40 hours in steel toes.. is just ..plain.. is not fun. These wobbly rods are a fun way to giggle the shoulder back into its proper place! Fun to use while watching television for low impact use after a hard day.This is my second blue one. I have played around and had some really fun, ergonomic, full arm stabilizer exercises just jamming out to some music. My tip for more intense oscillation exercise: Pretend you are drumming(probably won’t work for an actual drummer because they would have muscle memory for how a drum stick actually behaves), or find the rhythm and create a gryoscopic battle rope situation. I hope that description is accurate. “Gyroscopic battle rope situation”, lol. Pretend you are a hard rock drummer with a full circle drum set and just feel the wobble with the rhythm- can make it as intense as you like. Getting a good wobble on these big blue ones will get difficult very quickly, but the music (and rhythmic wobble of the natural rubber) makes it so fun!Something else if both put to each side with outstretched arms. It can assist in something I believe called “fascia hopping”? I dunno.. another suggested use. It’s a wobbly rod that lets you play with forces like momentum and gravity in rhythmic fashion- endless uses beyond the recommended ones.
