Customers say
Customers find the shoulder pulley effective for home physical therapy, particularly after rotator cuff surgery, and appreciate its ease of use with no assembly required. The product receives positive feedback for its stretchability, helping with frozen shoulders and neck stiffness from computer work, and customers consider it good value for money. While some customers report the pulley holds up well, others mention the door anchor breaking on first attempt, and while it’s easy to attach to the top of the door, some report issues with the rope getting stuck in the pulley. The range of motion aspect receives mixed reviews, with several customers noting the pulley doesn’t turn properly.

Theraband over the door pulley system
This is a nice compact pulley system for physical therapy use. It has a weight on the end so you donât have to hold it in place to shut the door you use to do your pt.My hubs had shoulder surgery a month ago and is using it for rehab. It seems to be a good quality material without being bulky. He says itâs easy to use even on his own and itâs compact enough he takes it to work and uses it in his office during the day.It came with instructions and the band but no travel bag which would have been nice to have.

Pretty close to what I was using at therapy
I am going through shoulder therapy for a rotator cuff repair. I use a shoulder pulley during every session of my therapy so I thought this would be a good buy for home use. I like the product because I can continue my stretching at home and I believe this will help my recovery. It is comfortable to hold and moves easily. Fits well over a door. The TheraBand shoulder pulley was reasonably priced so I think it is a good addition to my Home exercise routine.

This is one of the best fitness devices I’ve ever purchased
This is one of the best fitness devices I’ve ever purchased! It’s so simple (just a rope and a thick foam anchor) and yet crazy effective! With just pulling in different directions stretched my muscles in ways I couldn’t manage prior, and you feel like you went to the gym or did like 100 crutches by the end of your workout, also what’s really smart is the rope is multicolored with about 4 colors evenly spaced, (you have 1 inch of green on the left, and the same on the right, right after, the next color is 1 inch of red on the left and the right etc)this is nice because you can adequately excercise both sides evenly just by watching the colors on the rope, fantastic!

Over-the-door anchor slips, cheap plastic grips are uncomfortable
Don’t be lured by the pretty colors. This over the door shoulder pully is cheaply made. The hard foam disk that’s supposed to hold it in place over a closed door slips easily, the cheap PVC pipe handles are roughly drilled to accommodate a nylon cord and are uncomfortable to use. Save yourself the effort, go to the hardware store, buy a length of PVC pipe, some rope, and a pully for a few dollars and make a more comfortable shoulder pully yourself. I wish I had.

Great aid to recover
I have been suffering from shoulder impingement and rotor cuff issue. I cannot raise my arm above shoulders. Orthopedic specialist referred me to a physiotherapist. There I learnt the pulley is helping me a lot and bought this to work out at home. This one helped me a lot recover and is pretty simple to use.

Muy util en las terapias de hombro.

This was recommended by my physio and I can see why. The pulley is smooth, the ropes are strong and well marked and the handles are good to grip. It is easy to adjust the height of the ropes. Price is high but the product is very good.
