    Works really well.
Easy to read and seems accurate. It only lights up when moved. Numbers are large. Great for figuring out what the temperature is right outside your door.

Easy to set up way to monitor inside and outside temperature
This is handy as it can be, easy to mount the outside unit and use the inside unit to monitor indoor and outdoor temperatures and humidity. Mine is across the house and through 4 walls and it works fine. Love it.

    Great Product
Overall, I’m very pleased with this hygrometer-thermometer. It’s easy to set up and use. I bought it one year ago from Amazon, and my wife and I love the convenience of being able to check outdoor and indoor weather conditions at various times during the day and evening. I attached the outdoor sensor to the vertical frame of the front door, and we keep the indoor sensor on the kitchen counter. The low-voltage battery indicators for the separate sensors and the arrows indicating long-term trends in temperature and humidity (both outdoor and indoor) are particularly welcomed features. I’ve had to recharge the outdoor sensor battery and replace the indoor sensor batteries only once in the year since owning the product. As some other reviewers have indicated, a shortcoming seems to be a bit of inaccuracy in the temperature readings, especially the outdoor readings. Some of the “inaccuracy” in our case may be due to the influence of the wooden door frame to which the outdoor sensor is attached, as the temperature of the wood is likely to change slower than that of the outside air. Basically, this product has not been a disappointment, as we use it mainly as an indicator of what and how much clothing to wear when going outdoors on a given day, a decision that isn’t affected by a few degrees difference in temperature. I highly recommend it to anyone who can tolerate a couple of degrees of inaccuracy.

    Dependable Brand
I first bought the ThermoPro TP50 indoor thermometer about 6 or 7 years ago. It worked so well that I soon bought the TP60 indoor outdoor thermometer with the remote sensor. Later I bought a second TP60. When I get a new thermometer, I always check the accuracy against others that I have. All of these have shown a temperature of less than 1 degree of others that I trust, and humidity has been pretty close to each other. These have all been set on tabletops using the kickstand.I decided I wanted another ThermoPro to hang on the wall. For where I wanted it, I also wanted a little larger screen. I bought the ThermoPro TP62. It’s 3.2 wide x 3.9 high with a 3.3-inch screen compared to the others at 2.6 wide x 3.1 high with a 2.7-inch screen. Also, the TP62 has the control buttons on the front rather than the back which is good for a wall mount. If you are going to place the thermometer in a place where you want to read it in low light, the TP62 has a sensor on the top center that when touched lights the screen for a few seconds. Each of the ThermoPro thermometers I have are accurate and I think are going to last a long time. The batteries last 1 to 2 years, sometimes longer. I haven’t tried putting a sensor at the maximum range of 500 feet, but at 50 feet they read through multiple walls without fail. In normal room lighting they are all easy to read, but in low light or a dark room the TP62 screen will light up.

Accurate with good display, good transmission and max-min feature
I was surprised how good this unit is after a month’s use. The only feature I’m not sure of yet and which could affect future review is battery life, but so far it is much better than the Oregon Science unit it has replaced in that:• the sensor transmits easily from outside one end of the house to the room completely at the other end and through metal siding; the last unit could not do that• While initially I had the sensor indoors right next to the receiving unit and the indoor and outdoor temps differed by a few degrees, I found this was from handling the sensor. The difference went away with time. Outdoors, the sensor sends a temperature which is within one half degree of my expensive and accurate Davis Vantage View weather station. The two devices are in someone different places in the yard, one in sun the other not, but on cloudy, calm days when the readings should be the same, they are• The contrast on the display makes it very easy to read. The display unit is relatively small but the digits completely fill the whole screen and are readable from across the room• The backlight works very well with a tap in the center top of the display• The max-min feature is not explained well in the manual but works this way: you reset the max-min by holding that button for 5 seconds, then there is another button that gives you the choice of showing the max-min temps from the last time you did a reset or the max-min temps within 24 hours of that reset. So if you reset at 11:58 PM and use the 24 hour choice it gives you the max-min since the last 11:58 PM and then starts all over for the next 11:58 PM. It counts 24 hours internally. There is no clock. If you choose the “all time” setting instead of 24 hours, the max-min never resets and you will see the max-min since the last time you reset which could have been a month ago. The unit only operates in one of the max-min modes at a time. If you set it to “all time” you cannot display the 24 hour value.• The only”con” I would register is that there is no beep or other indication that the max-min reset has been successful. You can check to see if the max-min are both the current temp when you do the reset, but a beep would be nice.

I am using these temperature units on my RV. The remote is mounted externally away from rain and wind when driving. It tells me the most important aspects, temperature and humidity, that I feel is required. I can mow determine if I need to put the AC on ir just open windows and vents, based on the differences between inside and outside air.I ran these two units side by side in our home’s kitchen for a few weeks. The two units were mostly identical or only 1/10 different. To try this test you need to have them right next to each other. Even 6 inches apart there is a slight difference in air movement in the kitchen. I put good quality alkaline leak proof batteries in each unit. Hopefully I get a year or so use out of them.I love the large display with the two readings. In normal room lighting the display is easily read. The touch sensor at the bottom is good and sensitive. Only a light touch and the back light comes on.I am super happy with this product.6 months later: It looks like the outside unit now has the batteries flat. The battery symbol was showing on the display for both in and outside units. Today I noticed there is no data from the outside unit. That is six months with very good quality alkaline batteries. I am a bit dissapointed about only six months out of the batteries. The outside unit it cable tied under the van at the back of the electric step. Oh well, lay on my back and shimmy under the van to get at the unit………..maybe I will reconsider where I put it, seeing it looks like every six months the batteries need to be changed. I will still give 5 stars. They are very good units.

Buen producto.El display es grande y el backlight es naranja, cosa que me gustó mucho. Los dos sensores son muy sensibles y con solo tocarlos tienen variación de temperatura, el sensor remoto está a 30 metros con algunos muros intermedios y llega bien la señal.
