Versatile and stylish bike basket that securely mounts to front or rear bike racks and delivers plenty of added storage space.
Uses the security of a rack to attach to bicycle
Light and sturdy with a design that holds small items safely inside but large enough that bigger items fit easily as well
Works on rear or front of bike and attaches to bike rack decks/rails
Fits best on Thule racks, but will work on virtually any bike rack
Easy to install and remove with readily available tools

Customers say

Customers find the motorcycle basket to be of high quality, lightweight, and easy to attach to luggage racks, taking less than a minute to take on and off. They appreciate its functionality, working well on e-bikes and with various racks, and like its appearance, with one customer noting its nice design for bike attachment. While some customers report the basket being solid, others mention it breaks easily with normal use, and opinions on fit are mixed. Customers consider it pricey.

Nearly Perfect… quit, rubber mounted (easy on the rack paint/finish and easy on/off.
I’m a fulltime college student and will be using this rack for commuting. So far the basket is pretty awesome and mounted right up to my 2017 Surly Ogre with Surly’s rear rack. It fits my backpack nearly perfect laying down flat. The main reason I went with this basket over zip-tying a metal basket (or using a metal bracket) to my bike is because I didn’t want a basket rattling around needing additional improvising, tearing up the paint coating on my rear rack leading it to rust/oxidize and I wanted something I could easily mount and unmount. This Thule rack fits the bill… it’s also lightweight to boot and feels/looks like it’s decent quality. It was nearly ready to go right out of the box. The only assembly was attaching the clamps. It’s worth noting though that paniers likely won’t fit when using this basket. However, I’m ok with that and that’s an issue with most baskets. That’s one reason why I went with this basket, it’s easy to take off if I want to use panniers. There are four clamps that come with this basket. You just adjust them accordingly and tighten down the hex bolts. It’s a very quick process… less than a minute to take on and off. The clamps have a tough rubber base to them and are actually what the basket sits on. The bottom of the basket does not contact the rack, which is nice, just the rubber pads from the plastic clamps (the clamps feel substantial and not brittle, so no fear there). Like I said, this helps prevent adding additional wear and tear to the rack’s paint, etc.The reason for the four stars is because I think the basket is priced a little high…. should be $35-40 in my opinion considering it’s nothing more than a glorified plastic crate. The plastic does have a bit of give/flex to the walls. So that’s another reason for the four stars; I’m concerned about the long term durability as there is another customer/purchaser who showed their Thule basket broken after they leaned their bike against a wall with the weight of it on the basket. The basket feels like quality, but not indestructible.I updated the initial review to five stars despite the aforementioned concerns. I feels it’s one of the best options for a basket currently in the market for now.I’d definitely recommend this basket for anyone looking for a rack for light to medium duty use. Just be aware it is a tad on the small side; the sides particular seem shallow. I was surprised at how small it looked when I pulled it out of the box, but it’s intended purpose of holding a backpack was met as you’ll notice in the shared photo. If my thoughts and feelings change, I’ll do a follow up to this initial review. For now, this is one of the best solutions for someone who wants a quality rack that’s fairly well thought out.

    Fantastic bike rack
Yes this is a very very very nice basket. It would be even better if you could secure it to the front also. I cart a little yorkie in there.

Really nice, good quality but pricey.
Really nice, good quality but pricey. Support won’t fit all bikes, check how much room you have between rack and mud guard.

    Simply. Awesome.
My unit arrived in a severely damaged manufacturer’s box with the unit itself having sustained cosmetic damage while in transit, but scratchesand abrasions are inevitable on any daily ridden bicycle anyway! This basket will mount to any front or rear bike rack, but I would recommend using a Thule rack for simplicity. The Thule bike rack is elatively expensive and lacks worthy load bearing strength, but installation is a breeze and it has a clean appearance.I added an elastic cargo net for added security and it’s great! I would definitely recommend this basket. Lightweight, affordable, low profile, functional.

Received a used item, box open & basket scratched up
I purchased this basket to go on the rear rack of my bike. It seemed like a better solution then the bungie cords and milk crate basket I was previously using. I had my hopes up this would be a great solution even though it is NOT CHEAP. I was so disappointed when the box arrived damaged, previously opened and clearly retaped. The basket was scratched up and used, hardware loose every where.

Fits RadExpand rack and Vespa rack
In my household there is both a RadExpand bike and a Vespa LX150 and this basket fits the racks on both very securely! The clamps need to be placed in the desired location on the rack before the basket can be anchored down. Anchoring can be a bit fussy as there is a barrel nut that needs to slide through the clamp and it can roll a bit while you are trying to screw the bolt through the washer/basket/clamp. To prevent roll, insert the hex wrench through the underside of the clamp to stabilize the nut while initially using fingers to screw in the bolt (see two pics on what the assembly mechanism looks like). For the RadExpand, all four clamps are used. I have attached a pic showing the placement after installation and a pic I edited where I added red spot of where the clamps were placed. On the Rad, all clamps point inward toward the center of the basket. On the Vespa, just three of the clamps are needed and they all point toward the Vespa which makes it easier to get it on/off as the clamps just need to be loosened enough to angle the basket to slide it on/off (and the barrels nuts stay in place!). With the Rad, the clamps have to come completely off to take the basket off so hopefully getting practice with the process will speed things up, and I might play around more with the installation. As the basket isn’t cheap, the plan isn’t to leave the basket on either ride, but to swap it between them as needed and possibly get a cable lock to loop through the rack to deter theft when the basket is used for shopping, etc. (although thief would need to have correct sized hex wrench steal). Possibly will add mark/scoring to the bottom of the basket to show where the clamps need to be placed for each ride to make installation faster. FYI, it is possible to buy extra clamps from Thule. – Tail lights still visible on both rides, too! – Pics are a little out of order from how I uploaded, not sure why.

    lasted a week
Had this installed onto my moped, it worked just fine for a week and then i hit a pot hole and saw the plastic mount had broken off a chunk of the basket from the under side. The mount was actually fine but the issue was the plastic basket itself. I suppose it wasn’t designed for higher speed bikes/mopeds or pot holes for that matter, but now i’m trying to re-attach it using high strength zip ties and crossing my fingers.
