Once we got it working, it performs flawlessly. With this, we finally have a doorbell camera system that let’s me answer the doorbell even from my cell phone. Motion detection let’s me know when someone comes up to our front porch. Apparently, the system I received included a defective monitor/display that prevented the mobile app from accessing stored video clips. After 15 email exchanges trying all kinds of stuff, support sent me a replacement monitor/display that, once it was installed and configured allowed access to all functions. The design philosophy is more of a telephone with remote monitor than a doorbell with a camera. So, as you can see from the included video, when someone rings the doorbell, you “answer” the call. The included photo shows the working monitor and, in the background, the monitor that was replaced.
