EASY TO CUT
Cut vertically through the layers of the foam using a utility knife or scalpel, ensuring you watch your cutting depth as the foam consists of thin layers.

EASY TO PEEL
Excavate the foam gradually by cutting through one layer at a time until you reach the desired depth for each tool or item.

After cutting or peeling the tool foam inserts, test fit your tools or items to ensure they fit snugly in the foam. Make any necessary adjustments or additional cuts as needed to achieve a perfect fit.

High quality secure holding
I donât have experience with the other brands out there but this seems as good as it needs to be. For the price it fit my needs exactly (pro audio equipment items in rack mounted drawers). Using fresh razor blades/x-acto/scalpel will yield considerably better results; take your time and it will fit great.

ONREVA Store: Polyethylene Foam, 24x24x1 inch, 3-Pack, Red & Black Layered Foam for Custom Cases
ONREVA Store: Polyethylene Foam, 24x24x1 inch, 3-Pack, Red & Black Layered Foam for Custom CasesI love this product. It is so great for creating custom liners for tool box drawers and for creating custom interiors in TSTAK and PACKOUT cases. I have recently learned that I can use my table saw to make certain highly accurate cuts on pieces of ONREVA Foam using the rip fence, the miter gauge (with an extension), and custom-made jigs. Many years ago, I had to use a router with carbide bits to make custom cuts on a similar, but somewhat denser, polyethylene foam material to make shipping containers for certain electronic equipment. That experience gave me the idea to try the using my table saw on the ONREVA Foam. I chose to use a carbide blade with a high tooth count and it worked perfectly. Currently, I have the need to make some intricate curved cuts into the ONREVA Foam and I am not sure I want to do it with a scalpel. So, I may get my router out and give that a shot. I may even try to use a Dremel Tool and a carbide bit to make some smaller and finer cuts and possibly for shaping of the ONREVA Foam beyond vertical cuts. This is an absolutely great product for creating custom storage positions for tools inside a tool box or tool case. It does take some time to learn how to properly cut the foam to fit properly into a case and to fit around tools to hold them properly â It is an acquired skill. Go slowly, learn, and you will become an expert in short order. This product contains three foam sheets that are 24-inches long, 24-inches wide, and 1-inch thick. Each piece of foam has two 1/4″ black layers of foam on the outside and two 1/4″ red layers of foam on the inside. I want to use this foam for creating custom inserts for both PACKOUT and possibly a TSTAK case or two.One thing I particularly like about this product is that since this product is polyethylene foam, it will not decompose over time the way that polyurethane foam will. Additionally, the polyethylene foam will not dissolve if oil gets on it like some other foam products will (particularly polyurethane foam). I really like this product. It is quite dense and will hold my heavier tools well without getting crushed. It is really great stuff.

Layered foam inserts for tool organization
This stuff is so great. If you are someone that needs to have their tools organized then this stuff is for you. It’s very easy to use as well. The way I do it is to fit the foam pieces to my toolbox drawers. Once the foam is in the drawer, I take time to pick the tools I want in the drawer and I take time to orient each tool in a way that is economical for space. I don’t want a whole bunch of unused space if I can avoid it. Once I’ve decided on which tools are going in and how in going to orient and place everything, I decide on the tool I’m going to fit first. From there, I firmly hold the tool in place with one hand and with a sharp hobby knife I slowly begin to outline the tool. Once the tool outline is completely followed, I remove the tool and begin pulling the first layer.of foam off. If the tool is mostly sticking out of the foam, I will begin pulling the next layer off. I milay have to retrace some of the outline again but that’s usually minimal at this point. This stuff is high quality foam. It’s dense and rigid. I won’t lie, it is pricey. It’s pricey if you think of it as just foam. It’s absolutely worth every penny, though.

Great product for organizing tool boxes and more..
My Pelican mobile toolbox was a disaster zone before this foam. Wrenches, sockets, and pliers just rattled around loose, making it frustrating to find anything quickly. These 1-inch thick polyethylene sheets were exactly what I needed. Cutting the shapes out with a sharp knife was simple, though it takes a bit of time to trace everything carefully. The material holds tools snugly without being tacky, so nothing shifts during transport. My tools stay exactly where I put them, even when the case gets tossed in the truck. The foam is dense enough to hold heavier items securely but easy to cut through. Using all three sheets let me organize multiple layers perfectly within the case. It transformed a jumbled mess into a professional-looking setup where I can instantly see if something is missing. The foam feels durable and hasn’t deformed under the tools.Bottom Line: This toolbox foam kit does the job exceptionally well for organizing a hard case like mine. It cuts easily, holds tools firmly in place, and creates a clean, efficient layout. The three-pack offers plenty of material for deep cases and multiple layers. While cutting out the shapes requires some patience, the result is a perfectly customized organizer that prevents tool damage and saves time hunting for items. If you’re serious about organizing a mobile toolbox and want tools to stay put, this foam is definitely worth the time investment.

Worked perfectly for a pack-out tool insert.
I used this tool box foam to create an insert for my sonâs Milwaukee pack out to hold his oxy-acetylene torch heads and valves. This was 1 inch thick foam, so I had to use 4 layers in his pack out. I used an Xtool 20 watt diode laser to cut the outlines of the torch head and valves. For anyone interested, each cutout took 7 passes with the speed set to 20 and power at 100%. From a value standpoint, this foam costs about $12 per square foot. If youâre protecting delicate tools that cost hundreds of dollars, this is a good value. If you donât have a laser cutter, this foam can easily be cut by hand with an Xacto or razor knife. I would recommend this foam for any tool or instrument protection.

The part you cut out actually peals out like it should. Awesome product
These organizer foam sheets worked awesome. I used them in my tool box for my random tool drawer. I also used a piece in my RV trailer for our glass drink wear. They cut very easy and pealed apart correctly. I have bought other brands in past that did not peal apart correctly. I gave this a shot and have no regrets. I will be buying more to finish my shop tool box and to organize my boat tool box.
