Topdon Thermal Imager – Excellent Tool!I recently purchased the Topdon Thermal Imager, and itâs been fantastic. The image quality is clear, and it accurately measures temperatures, which makes it easy to spot issues in electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC/R and automotive.Itâs very user-friendly with a simple interface and a bright, responsive screen. Awesome Thermal Imager
After using the TOPDON TC004 Mini for a week now I can definitely say it out preforms for the price. Using higher end thermal imagers in the past I can say the TC004 Mini performs nearly the same. It comes packaged in very nice in a thick foam that I will be sure to keep it in. I like the compact size of the imager with it having a nice screen size making it very useable. Space in my tool box is limited knowing that this imager isnât going to take up much is a major plus. Iâm really impressed with the TISR upscaling adding increased resolution to the image displayed. The battery life is also awesome! I charged it once when I got it to make sure it was at 100% and havenât had to since then. I am also really happy with the auto MIN and MAX temperature setting, it is nice that the imager can find them automatically. I would highly recommend this imager to any professional or hobbyist as it is an awesome aid for diagnostic procedures. The only thing I wish was included with this imager is a travel case, but itâs by no means a deal breaker as they can be purchased for cheap. Overall I am very satisfied with this imager and would definitely purchase it again!

Versatile Thermal Tool for Home and Auto
This thermal camera is very easy to use and impressively well made. The controls feel solid, the ergonomics are slick, and the screen offers crisp imagery. It is perfect for automotive diagnostics. I have used it to check for misfires, faulty radiators and condensers, and even vent issues with ease.Around the house, it is great for locating drafts or air leaks around doors. Just point, squeeze the trigger, and it takes snapshots instantly. The camera works beautifully, and I must say it is fun enough that I jokingly used it to playfully âsearch for ghostsâ (so far, no paranormal sightings).

Compact, responsive, and good quality
TopDon has done it yet again. As an automotive tech having good quality tools to do the job is a must. I have used several of their tools in past without disappointment so when I needed a thermal camera it was natural to get one of their imagers.Starting off with the design the camera has a good build quality, feels good in the hand, and has a premium feeling. The cost is a lot cheaper compared to other brands. Battery life has been good. Surprisingly the image quality compares to some of the $500+ thermal cameras that my coworkers have.Cons: this thermal camera only has an IR camera, it does not have normal camera like others, where it would be able to merge both into one. For me this isnât a deal breaker but for others it could be. For the price point you canât complain.These imagers are good to have in your tool box, doesnât matter if youâre a professional or want it just for fun. It can help with diagnostics, findings electrical issues, shorts, draws, mechanical issues, etc. Overall, this is another great tool
