Roomy, sturdy and well-balanced – large wheels good for rough terrain
This is a well-built toolbox that survived 4 flights in checked baggage with no damage. I had to remove a handful of tools to get the box down to the airline’s 70 lb. limit. Even at the higher weight, the balance and large wheels made it easy to pull this box with another piece of luggage stacked on top. I caution anyone who has to lift the toolbox that it’s easy to fit far more weight than your back will appreciate. I had to walk behind the counter to help the gate airline agent move this to the conveyor belt. This toolbox is well-designed, well-built, and large enough to hold all the tools I needed to tear down and rebuild a friend’s deck. This will be the perfect box to carry whatever I need for my friends’ and family’s honeydoo projects. If you plan to fly with this toolbox, it pairs nicely with Master Lock 4696T, Pack of 2 TSA Approved Luggage Lock. I chose to remove the extendable handle before checking the toolbox (to comply with weight limits and for convenience of the baggage handlers), but believe it would have been sturdy enough to have survived the flights.

I love this rolling tool box, The wheels are nice and the long handle is great! Handle comes off if needed and the box is a perfect size. I’m glad Amazon is now carrying TOUGHBUILT STACKTECH and hope the new items are coming soon this summer. I can’t wait for the new rolling tool box with the siding drawer comes, it will make things much easier this way you don’t have to take everything down unless you are putting your stuff away!
