Clear Sound, But Cannot Connect to TransKit App
This is really 4.5 stars, minus ½ star because the back of the earbuds case has a QR code, that’s supposed to lead to where you activate your warranty, instead it leads to a site that tells you to download the TransKit app. After installing Transkit, there are 3 sections that require you to bind the earphones by scanning a QR code. I assumed the QR code on the back of the case but nothing scanned, there’s just a horizontal red line inside a scanning box on the phone screen that does nothing.Of the app, you’re only able to use the “Speaker Mode” that translates from a language you select from a drop down menu to another language you select from a second drop down menu. The default is Chinese to English. You have to change the English language to something other than English to change it to English to another language because the app won’t let you temporarily put the same language in both boxes in order to switch.Eventhough there’s a “12 Month Warranty” and “100 Days Full Refund Guarantee”, there isn’t a way to actually activate the warranty and no contact info in the manual, so I’m guessing you have to contact the seller through Amazon if you have a problem.Overall, the earbuds work well. It’s simple to connect. It’s a little low on bass, but the sound is clear. The earbuds stay in place when moving around, and the tapping functions for play/pause, next track, previous track, increase/decrease volume all work. I wasn’t able to try reject call function, and I can’t do the Siri tapping function because I use an Android. So although the only translation the app can accomplish is just like any other translate app, the translation earbuds are simply just earbuds until the app is fixed.

These earbuds have been great for when I’m doing stuff around the house. I like listening to music or catching up on podcasts while folding laundry or vacuuming, and these let me move freely without cords or bulky headphones getting in the way.They don’t muffle sound, which is useful when I’m waiting for the oven timer or have children around. I’m still entertained and able to listen for everything. It’s similar to listening to background music without being disconnected.When I reach up inside cupboards or bend over, the earphones stay in place because they are lightweight. In the past, I’ve had the issue of ordinary earbuds dropping out when I leaned down, but the hook design keeps these in place.I also like the case—it’s easy to open with one hand and I always know how much battery I’ve got left. I usually don’t charge them until I notice they’re low, and I still haven’t run out mid-day yet.They’ve become part of my daily routine. I just put them on when I start the dishes or mop the floor. Nothing fancy, but they’ve made chores feel less dull and more like “me time.”

The open ear design allows in just enough natural sound to stay aware of my surroundings, while still delivering clear and balanced audio. The battery lasts through multiple uses, and the LED display on the case is a helpful feature that makes it easy to check the charge at a glance. Setup was quick and easy, with stable Bluetooth the whole time. The design is very comfortable and stays secure in my ear. The sound quality has been great, and I really enjoy listening to music with these.
