Superb customer service for a superior product
This was my first TV surround sound purchase and I was swayed by the price and the reviews of the Poseidon 60. The setup was easy and accurate and all was well for about a month. While I was recovering in the hospital from open heart surgery, my wife called to say that the sound was not working. I diagnosed the situation as well as circumstances allowed, but she was forced to use the TV sound on our Samsung. So sad! After quite a bit of trial and much error, it was found that the problem was with the main Poseidon speaker, although it developed that there were sound issues with the Samsung set, too, which certainly complicated matters! The folks from Ultimea were extremely helpful in helping me with the diagnostics and when it was determined that the problem lay with the Poseidon, another unit was sent even before they received my defective unit. They even paid for the return shipping.I am happy to report that the replacement unit is performing marvelously, and I am looking forward to purchasing another system for my vacation home in Maine. After all, once you have experienced surround sound, you can’t go back!

Transforms your tv audio!
I have always wanted a surround sound to get a more ‘full’ tv experience and decided to buy this due to the price and good reviews.Set up went (mostly) without a hitch, you just need to plug the sound bar into your tv and the wall, then plug the subwoofer into the satellite speakers and the wall. The wireless aspect is that the soundboard connects to the subwoofer wirelessly but the satellites are connected to the subwoofer.I did have issues with getting the settings correct on my TCL roku tv. You gotta set it up so that the audio comes out through hdmi eARC but for some reason it wasn’t activating the port. I ended up having to unplug both the tv and surround sound from the wall for 10 seconds and it fixed the issue. The sound quality is way better than my tv sound and watching Dolby atmos content is AMAZING and very clear. I can only compare it to my tv audio though since I’ve never really experienced any other more expensive surround systems.Overall I’d say it’s a great value for your money and I’d recommend at least giving it a shot if you’re like me and have only ever listened to the audio straight from the tv.

Good starter system when on sale and using plugged in in a small space
For $100, a great starter system. Think of it as 3.1 with perks (not 5.1), use the eARC (not Bluetooth), buy when on sale, and youâll be very happy. For $100, itâs well worth it. Iâm very glad I bought it. Compliments at the bottom, caveats first.1. The Bluetooth receiver (or the processing of that chip) is of low quality. It works fine enough for podcasts and light background music, but it is tin-y and thin. This isnât a huge issue as I can just play music from my tv (Spotify app on Roku) and have the speaker pick it up via the eARC cable (which works great). This is an expected and common issue, and while slightly frustrating as itâs not too hard for them to have to installed a better chip, I guess people generally donât care as much about BT speaker audio. If you need a high quality BT audio recover either get something else (Bose and Apple and Sony have all worked well for me in the past) or connect an independent high quality BT receiver to the aux port.2. Not ideal for spoken word (like podcasts). It works fine, Iâll keep using it but a. You HAVE to manually switch the EQ to âvoiceâ every time (and remember to switch it back). And b. The 5 speakers a sometimes ever so slightly out of sync when streaming podcasts to them. My guess is this is for the surround sound effect, but when just cleaning the house listening to podcasts it more of an echo than surround sound. You can slightly adjust this manually with the âsurroundâ setting, but again you need to remember to adjust it back when you go to watch a movie or listen to music.3. Not a deal breaker, but the âsurroundâ speakers must both be plugged into the subwoofer. They come with 15ft high quality cables to do this. This has changed where I put them and reduced the surround nature of the left side in my apartment so that I donât have trailing cables. Thatâs a me problem, you might have better luck.4. The front is tiny and short and not surround. It still sounds great and it slightly gets over this by playing some sounds âout of phaseâ to create a great nonspecific atmospheric sound, but nothing can replicate actually having speakers farther apart. This is a 5.1, but is plays like a really good 3.1 and if you think of it that way youâll be more happy.I am so glad I bought this! The built in manual eq presets (adjust by pressing a button on the remote) for different media types, while annoying to have to change every time, helps podcasts and movies a great deal. When played through the eARC cable the sound is full and crisp and deep and immersive. Itâs a steal at $100. I would never pay the full $170, but I didnât have to and Iâm happy. Think of it as a 3.1 system with perks and youâll be happy too.

Not satisfied
Update 8/7/25:Well the D60 replacement unit isnât working now! The volume just does what it wants! Iâve tried to reset the unit, Iâve tried to unplug to reset it but nothing works! See the video of the volume doing what it wants. Left a voicemail message for the company, but no response yet.Update:The company reached out to me to discuss the problem. I tried everything that was suggested and that didnât work. The company replaced the D50 system with the D60 and this system works perfectly! The D50 system must have a problem. The company wanted me to be happy with their product and Iâm happy now with their product! 5 stars now!Iâm not satisfied! The sound has a lot of echo! The bass has to be set on -6 and the surround sound set on -6 also to get rid of the echo. Iâve tried the movie, music, sports, and game settings and it does change the sound, but doesnât get rid of the echo. Iâm hooked up to hdmi arc and tried optical and Bluetooth with the same issue. It sounds like the system isnât in sync! I know all the reviews are good and this one will be the only negative one!

Simplesmente perfeito. Qualidade superou um outro home que eu tinha, Panasonic de 1000 watts de potência.
