Foyer Transformation
Transformed My Dark Foyer â Absolutely Love These Wall Panels!I had a really dark and uninviting foyer right off the garage, which is where everyone enters our home. I desperately wanted to brighten it up, make it more welcoming, and add some much-needed “wow” factor. I explored brighter paint colors and wallpaper, but nothing felt quite right for the space.Then, I discovered these wall panels, and they were exactly what I needed! I was immediately drawn to the modern feel of the wood. The warm color of the panels has truly lightened up the entire area, creating such a welcoming first impression as soon as you step in from the garage.Beyond the stunning aesthetic, the installation was incredibly easy. The panels fit together perfectly, and we simply glued them to the wall. Even the pieces that needed cutting were a breeze with a saw, and there was very little waste, which was a huge plus. A Worthy Project
We are somewhat experienced diy home improvement. We have completed projects from heavy construction (as having large truck load of large beams and large format concrete (2 foot by 2 foot) pavers delivered to our driveway) that my wife and I used in our addition. This job was not physically strenuous using the product. We are both retired financial executives. I’m 79 years old. So having qualified us we feel comfortable in rating this product a 4. The job was a full wall, floor to ceiling. For such a job we used power saws; a chop saw and a saber saw. Now that we are finished we are okay with the finished look. We recommend caution in the difficulty with the vertical spacing as that is what is a challenge in making adjustments. Width adjustments were not difficult, just a saw cut. The wood pieces will disassemble when making small cuts for things like window sills. Of course you can glue the small pieces to the wall fitting them in like a puzzle.As I mentioned, we like the finished look, especially as the wall is in our sunroom. It’s different. I’m not sure about using it except in an informal room as is ours.The 12 boxes we received were undamaged. None of the contents were damaged. They were packaged very nicely. Our shipment came 2 days early, a real plus for us. We think it is worth the price charged and can recommend it to others. It is not tedious work but it is important to have the right tools and a nice surface to mount them on. Of course, read the instructions!
