Convenient and discreet
Love this compact portable toilet. When itâs folded no one knows what it is. It unfolds easily for the plastic bags I use for collection. Better then packing buckets and crates for stability. I will order another one for next season. Great as a seat at camp could be used for other storage. Itâs light enough to move around camp (I use in my tent at night but place in shower tent during the day).

Compact, sturdy, great with pine pellets
This potty has been working great for me for camping, for a year now. It collapses down to a compact package, and is comfortable + sturdy. I use Tractor Supply pine pellets (for horse stalls) in it, and that absorbs and controls odors very well.

Don’t be afraid to buy this.
This is my 3rd porta potty for camping and I love it. Love that it’s taller than normal potties and it is very sturdy. Packs flat too.

No complaints
This was used for about a month by 4-5 individuals while cleaning out a hoarder house that didn’t have running water. It saved a lot of time since we didn’t have to run to the closest gas station to use a toilet. It even stood up to the abuse of IBS.Very easy to set up. The 200lb person who used it said it held their weight without issue. We used porta potty powder after every use, changed the bag every night. Lysol sprayed the seat. It was probably the cleanest thing in the house.It’s definitely better than being in a cramped, dark portolet with little ventilation.

Misleading Photos & Not Comfortable!
Okay so 3 stars because there is a bit of misleading going on with this item. The first detail is I got this one specifically because it claimed to be more comfortable with the leather seat and higher than the others for a more natural position when sitting on it. I threw it up to judge for myself. I am around 230 and hubby is around 280. Wt limit is 330. I wanted it to hold our weight and also be comfortable. The height is okay but the comfortable part is NOT. The seat seems to be made of maybe a particle board or something wrapped in a thin “pleather”. I don’t know why they couldn’t spring for a little padding under that pleather for the price- but it literally feels like you’re sitting on the thing without the seat on it. I dont know how else to describe it except that you can feel the sides of the “box” you’re perched on.l digging into your legs. If you had to do more than squat for a few minutes it would be an uncomfortable experience indeed. It will do the job okay but long term I’d still be looking for something portable that doesn’t feel like sitting on the edges of a hard box. It does feel sturdy though, as it digs into your legs. I definitely didn’t feel like it would collapse. Second, I didn’t buy a roll of bags since it appeared to come with a small roll. I knew it wouldn’t be much but figured maybe 5 bags at least in that roll which would do fine for the first camping/fishing trip. Um…it comes with 2. 2 bags. That’s it. Maybe I missed that part of the description and it’s my fault. But the photo is incredibly misleading. The two bags don’t even come rolled up, they were just laying in the case folded up. I shouldn’t have to read the fine print to find out ahead of time you were being shady with the bags. I haven’t “road tested” this yet. And I was hoping it would be a bit lighter than it is. Definitely large enough that you would not pack this in a backpack to go to hiking or camping back country or anything. It’s not portable like that. But they don’t claim to be they just sort of insuate that it could be. So 3 stars for being misleading and shady. And I wanted others to know before they purchase. You will need your own roll of bags, you won’t be able to “take this anywhere” and while it is sturdy, it is NOT comfortable at all. Buyer beware.

Purchased for camping. It was great, even better than expected. We placed a good quality no leek kitchen garbage bag in the toilet and added some cedar chips at the bottom as recommended. A very large bag of cedar chips was purchased at a pet store (used for rabbits or other small animals) for $14. The bag will last for several campings trips. The chips were super absorbent so almost no liquid at the bottom of the bag and definitively no smell at all.
