A very much needed tool. Update already
ALLPOWERS S2000 PORTABLE POWER STATIONAnother update 6/24/2025. We’ve been having heavy rains recently. In summer, hot, dry Kansas, rain is always welcome. But once in a while it gets carried away. Because of all the rain we’ve had the ground is saturated. Last night the rain was falling in buckets. Water was coming into our sump pit, but the pump was able to keep up, that is until – the electrical transformer on the powerline exploded – no more power to run the pump or anything else. Found the flashlight and fired up the power station. Plugged in the pump and it shutdown. I thought: UH OH! Unplugged the pump and plugged it back in and off it went. The pump draws 600 watts, according to the meter on the front of the power station. So I figured 600 watts X 3 hours = 1800 total watts. So accordingly, the station, it should run the pump for at least 3 hours. Will it? When the power gauge showed 55%, I was getting nervous. Will the station run down to zero before it shuts down? Or will it run down to 20% or some other percentage and then quit? For safety’s sake, I figured at 50%, I’d run down to the convenience store, get gas and fire up our gas generator. When it read 55% I was getting everything ready for the gas generator when power was restored. If anyone knows how far the power station will run down before it completely shuts down, I’d appreciate knowing. But I do know this – the power station saved our basement from being flooded.Another update 11/27/2024. When I find something that works as promised, makes my life easier, gives me piece of mind, and worth the money, I wish to share it with You. Hopefully, the original post and updates have helped you make a decision whether this particular Power Station is too large, too small, or even too expensive. When I spend close to a $1000.00 for something, I want all the info I can find. This update has to do with something that’s extremely important to me (and the wife). That is – will this Power Station start and run the sump-pump with no issues, and run the pump for a long time continuously without draining the battery? I’ve mentioned our basement has been flooded because we have a friggin’ sump-pit! The sewer line is above the floor of the basement. So whatever water runs in the pit, has to be pumped up to the sewer line. I wouldn’t have purchased the house 20 years ago if I would have known the problems sump-pits can cause. I’ve taken every means and spent a fortune for every precaution. Haven’t had an issue in 10 – 12 years, so in other words, I’ve learned how to deal with it! And now the Power Station is one more round in the arsenal to keeping a dry basement. Without further ado; on with the show!Update on the day I received it 11/20/24. Read where it takes maybe 3000 watts to start the pump in our sump-pit. Plugged the battery into a 120 AC outlet as soon as I unboxed it. Only took 30 – 40 minutes to charge to 100%. Hit the on button, pushed the button for AC and the pump started and ran without a Hiccup! Thinking this battery is going to be one of my best friends.Usually don’t get “too” excited when I get a new toy (yes I do), but I am excited with this. We’ve had problems in the past. If there’s a thunder, hail, or wind storm (typical here in Kansas) you can sometimes hear electrical transformers exploding on the power poles in the neighborhood. Of course that means no power; once it was off for 5 days filling the basement with 6″ of water! if it’s raining buckets, the sump-pump will start filling with water. As long as the power stays on, the pump will keep up with no problem. But – if water is gushing into the pit, and power goes out, I have about 10 minutes running around like a crazy person, putting gas in the generator, praying it will start, running extension cords to the basement, hoping it hasn’t flooded before I plug in the pump. In the past 20 years we’ve had 5 floods. Used a battery backup and a water backup system in the past, but they’re not stout enough to pump the water up and out fast enough. The water backup is presently installed, so it does give me an extra few minutes to get the gasoline generator going. Now – if this battery says what it says it will do, all I have to do is plug the pump into one of four AC outlets. Information I found says it will run most everything (except central air) on it for 12 hours or so before battery is drained. More than good enough! I’ll have plenty of time running the extension cords, gassing up the generator, plugging in fridge and all other necessities later if needed. I received it today, got it charging, and ready to give it a real-world-workout. So far, I give it 5 big stars for look of quality, ease of movement, and piece of mind. If it works as promised, going to give it a high-five! Comes with all needed cords and a storage cover One thing – I most always give the Chinese credit for the packaging they put their products in. Some Chinese product quality might be questionable, but packing is usually always 1st rate. I’ll give an unbiased update in 60-90 days and let you khow how it’s going. Apologizes for the dark pics, but that’s where the Power Station will be parked and it’s kind of a dark area of the basement.

They have great customer service!
I just recently purchased all powers S200, I work on houses, and in this particular house a permit for the electricity is on hold for some reason, anyway I felt a generator would help, I’ve used gas generators in the past but this time I wanted to try solar. I was impressed by this unit because I can charge it from the wall or solar or both at the same time to get a rapid charge. I’ve used it several times but ill describe the time I used it most. 12 hr work day, I used a miter saw, air compressor, and contractor lights and charged up for my drill and impact screw gun .. at the end of the day I can’t remember the exact power left but it was just under half used, shout out to all powers, I didn’t have to wait on the electricity to get turned on to do my job. O yeah the customer service is awsomeð

Allpowers yea or nay
I bought this unit because the Bluetti I wanted was so out of reach. This unit arrived quickly, it came packaged securely.Surely this company can’t do anything better. After a few months of seriously enjoying this machine and showing this and how it works, the bottom fell out.One morning it wouldn’t come on. So I wrote the Allpowers company, had to write cause I couldn’t find a phone number, nothing. So I can’t recommend this product.

It cuts out. Shuts down mid operation.
I dislike that it is unreliable. It works fine when it is working. But the app only seems to work when you are 5 to 10 feet from it and when it is running with a 200 watt load it will periodically just shut down and I have to restart it. I can’t trust it to run through the day. I was hoping to take some of the load off my Ecoflow unit but cuts out shutting all my stuff down. The Ecoflow is reliable and I can trust it to run through the day and it’s app tells me how solar is working from my work place, miles away.

2 year status report
Iâve had this unit for a little over two years now. It has functioned well so far. The intake and outtake fans are slightly noisier these days, but Iâm usually using this unit outdoors and there is often considerable amount of dust in the air. The only thing Iâve done to it is, a few months ago, I took the top off and blew out dust and grit from the interior of the unit. It looks like if I ever need to replace the fans, it would be a long involved process, but doable. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Keep it Plugged in?
When I received this unit 2 months ago, the battery was completely drained, which alarmed me. I plugged it in and it did recharge to 99%. I tested it with my evaporative cooler and it worked fine. I recharged it to 99% and put it back on the box for a rainy day, so to speak. Today I wanted to be sure it was still fully charged, and it would not turn on. I hooked up the power cord and plugged it in, and it showed 35% power. Unsure why it would drop from 99% to 35% in 2 months when not turned on. Was it in a Stand by mode? I see nothing about that in the manual. However, one person said this unit is intended to remain plugged in 24- hours a day to kick on when power goes out. The manual says to recharge fully every 90 days, that’s what I’m going to do. ð¤ As long as it works when the power goes off, that’s all I hope for.

Amazing. Unit excellent clean power.
Far exceeds our expectations. I expected to get 8 hours out of this unit. If I had to guess running multiple kegerators an keeping a phone charged this would last over 24 hours. Great purchase.

I got this as I did not have any units that would output over 1000 wats and for 700.00 with the coupon applied at the time of purchase. The fact it also has 1500 ish WH was a selling feature. The display for % charge may not be super accurate. It may be more off when the unit is cold. When first got it I charge it and it may have been at lower than desired tempature as I charged it to almost full and then it haddropped to less than 1/2 when I went to start doing full testing the next morningNext day I did some discharge tests and recharge from the wall it it seems to be working better but was not getting the amount of watts I thought I would but as I said I am not sure how accurate the % charge is. It may show it has hit 100% yet is still taking watts for a while to be fully chargedI am going to be doing some more uses and recharge over the next week and will update my review then. I am also going to plug in a watt meter to see what my test heater is really pulling.Update March 1-2024Its performing well and I have done some discharge tests with an electric heater and 30 min at 1275 watts took it to 50% indicated charge which is right where it should be at the rated capacity. It also has had now issues staying charged to 100% which was an initial concern but I think it was due to the fact the unit may have been below the freezing mark.So far for the price Its gives me all I was looking for with higher capacity and output for a super low priceUpping to 5 stars based on the price and what I am getting for itJust order the 200 Watt solar Panel and looking forward to trying it when its not -15C like this week

I purchased the S2000 for use in my pop up camper. It works very well for that as it delivers 2000w and has a decent battery size. Form factor is nice and square for easy packing and all controls and plugs are on the front. The one issue is that their designers decided that it would be a good idea to have the S2000 turn off the bluetooth after 30 minutes if it is not plugged into grid power. If you are plugged in, the bluetooth will stay on when you turn it on.When you’re not connected to the grid is when you need to monitor your battery and turn on and off the AC inverter. The inverter should not be left on if AC is not needed as it chews through your battery power needlessly, even with nothing plugged in. Bluetooth uses almost no power so the user should be able to have it on when they want it on. If you want to keep your S2000 in a storage locker or other hard to reach place bluetooth needs to stay on when you turn it on.AllPowers support is prompt and helpful. I had an issue that was my fault and they helped diagnose the issue. I did explain the bluetooth issue and sent them a video but they didn’t seem to want to address it. My guess is they know it is a bad design but can’t do anything about it because the S2000 cannot have its firmware updated, unlike Bluetti and Ecoflow stations. Now that I think about it, that might be another issue…Update: It turns out that if there is no significant power draw (i.e. a small LED USB light is not sufficient) the S2000 will shut off AC, USB Ports, and Bluetooth after 30 minutes. It will not shut off the 12v DC car adapter plug. While this is good in that it allows you to run a 12v fridge without fear of spoiling the food overnight, it is too bad that this drain is not considered in the decision to turn off the bluetooth.I would also add that the app is painful. To use it, each time you have to re-pair the S2000 to your (Android) phone.

I received this item and it looked fine. However, it was defective with zero output power. i contacted the seller who told me that I should turn the device on for it to work, duh!!The seller then asked me to send a video to prove my good faith so I did. Then the seller told me to arrange a pick up myself with a tiers shipping company, so i did.The shipping company picked up the item, didn’t give my wife any tracking number and since then, Poof! the seller claims that I didn’t return his defective item (like I want to keep it since it doesn’t even work) I AM BEING TOLD THAT THIS ITEM ISN’T ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND. So if you want to be left holding the bag, go ahead and order a “All powers product from this seller”. And.., good luck!

The casing is not sturdy, so i try not to pick it up too often.(it has a weird knock when you pick it up and put it back down, but no screws to tighten…)Edit, year later: usage is still ok.But, charging from solar is weird. When the sun goes down, the charging relay starts clicking non stop in a fairly aggressive manner. There should have been a time delay to save it from wearing out. When contacted the brand, a machine keeps asking you same question over and over. So 0 customer service.Looks like i got lucky with the operation since mine still works.
