My door ended up being a few inches wider than expected due to tucking the material under the metal support structure which meant I needed one more of the precut panels to complete my door. I noted to Mike that I was a little short and sent a picture with the details. He sent a bit extra for me to finish the door. Fairly easy installation and looks great too. Thank you!

I did a thorough cleaning of my garage door and then waited until the next day to ensure it was thoroughly dry. I wiped it down with alcohol and then waited a few hours before installing the insulation.
The weather at time of installation was in the high 70’s. The next morning I discovered that more than half of the panels were coming loose from the two sided tape

It took me a few minutes to figure out how to install. The double sided tape though nice, didn't really help as you need 2 people to use it. You still have to cut the length and I inserted the material within the grooves of the door. It took me a while but once I got the hang of it, it sped up. There was plenty of material left over. We experienced temperatures in teens and this product really made a big difference. I'm glad I purchased. It's not super thick and I'm thinking of adding another layer as the room above the garage feels like a fridge but it used to feel like a freezer.

I have an 18’ garage door and this product worked great. The material is a bubble type material and thick, not some cheap flimsy material and it actually takes effort to cut and trim it. You have to clean the door good with denatured alcohol so tape sticks well. The trick is to Remove the garage door brackets one at a time, adhere the insulation and put the bracket back over the top and it holds it down against the door. They are 18’ pieces so you have to be careful and keep them lined up with the edge or it will be off at the end and have wrinkles. The only negative I found so far is the roll of double sided tape provided is about 2’ too short if you have windows in your door. You have to place tape around window frames so it seals before cutting windows out and there isn’t enough tape for the door and 8 windows. It would be a perfect product if they added about 5’ longer to tape roll and offered a plastic trim or edge to go around window frames that could be screwed in to hold down material around openings. As long as the tape provided adheres and sticks over time, I will be very happy with final product. Insulated garage and so works excellent. I highly recommend this product. This product did require some trimming and piecing to fit my standard garage door. I didn't use over windows or I would not have had enough. It works like a charm at regulating the temperature of my garage. Not nearly as cold. Will see what happen when it's hot. Added unexpected bonus, the garage door is quieter going up and down.

BLUF: This product is a worthless piece of crap. I secretly hoped, I'd be able to avoid replacing the west-facing steel garage door in Phoenix with an insulated one by applying this layer of insulation. Application was easy, had to trim it a bit because my garage door has 4 columns x 5 sectional pieces, the insulation came in 16 sheets. No big deal, plenty of double sided tape in the kit. Halfway done, I took my thermal imaging camera, once the sun fully hit the door. While the untreated door reached 134F, the treated side reached reached 127F, with the door bevels clearly visible. The product results in little to no insulation.

I live in mid-NC where the sun bakes the garage door during more than half the year, in winter it acts like a fridge. As a result, my new townhouse is affected by the double garage door. I ordered two kits, one to mount against the garage door, just inside the metal frame and the other to mount in the traditional way against the metal frame. For each panel this create a thin rectangular area, insulated on all six sides.
Had an issue with the mounting tape, contacted David. He immediately responded and got a fix underway within a day. Now that, is supreme customer service.
Definitely a buy! If you live in a colder/hotter area, I recommend ordering enough to create fully insulated garage panels
