VELCKING: Milwaukee Packout Mounting Plate, Wall or Floor Mounts, 2 Full-Size Steel Mounting PlatesI ordered this product, the VELCKING Packout Mounting Plates (2-full size plates), to be able to mount my Milwaukee Packout 48-22-8435 cases onto the wall and get them off of the bench and out of the way. I have been using the Milwaukee Packout 48-22-8435 cases to create custom storage solutions for some of my tools using 3-D printed inserts for the Packout 48-22-8435 cases. I have also been custom cutting Kaizen-type foam for placement into the Packout 48-22-8435 cases and then creating custom cut-outs in the foam surface to hold the desired tools and accessories. The project is going well except that I found I was just stacking the custom cases on one of my work benches. The idea of being able to place these cases onto the wall instead of the bench seems like a good resolution to the loss of bench space.The cases that I currently have fit well onto the mounting plates and latch into place. The plates are sufficiently strong that I can stack several cases onto each location on the mounting plates. The mounting plates are very rigid and capable of standing up to substantial weight. They can be mounted to the wall directly or bolted onto a plywood sheet that is then affixed to the wall. I think the latter solution will be better, in my case. Lastly, these two plates I have received are very well finished with a spatter-type finish. They look like they will hold up very well.I like this product. It solves a problem without creating a bigger problem. It allows me to have quick access to my Packout cases without having to search through other identical-looking cases. It allows me to get my Packout cases into a position where they will not get damaged. The cost is a little steep but I can stack several cases onto one location position. I am happy with the product.

I picked up the VELCKING Packout Mounting Plates to add more flexibility to my Milwaukee setup, and I couldnât be happier. These full-size plates are built from sturdy metal, and you can really feel the quality compared to lighter-duty alternatives. Very good, but needs a slight improvement
This is a well-made and sturdy packout mounting plate. It’s light weight steel just slightly heavier than aluminum. Very smooth and clean black finish. No sharp edges that will cut you. The mounting slots appear to be precisely cut and the packs aligns & mounts perfectly. You can mount a full-size single pack, or two half size packs. The one issue I noticed is packs can be wiggled and pulled out without using the unlocking tab – there appears to be a little too much room in the cutout for the locking latch. For home or garage use, I do not think this will be an issue. But for vehicles the movement/bumps might cause a pack to accidentally dislodge itself.Mounting hardware is included – they provide decent quality M5 nuts & bolts. The mount points are external to the sides instead of inside or top/bottom like others. Not an issue, but if you were to mount the plates side by side you will have considerable amount of space to account for in between the mount points.Overall, it’s good value for the price and quality that you get. With a minor improvement on the locking cutout, I think it will be perfect.

WAY Better than OEM for less $ !
We are super happy with the quality of these packout mounting plates! We were very pleasantly surprised, and weâll be purchasing this version going forward instead of the OEM. These are a thick, powder-coated metal and feel really solid- the brand name version is plastic and feels flimsy in comparison. We checked just to make sure, and these do work with a Packout.Iâm not quite sure about the hardware they sent- weâre planning to use our own concrete wall anchors so we can mount them in the basement. But if we need more mounting plates, weâll be buying these, not the name brand. The quality difference is obvious, and these feel like the better long-term option.

Heavy duty mounting solution.
These mounting plates are just what I needed to mount my packout cases in the back of my SUV.Some reviewers are having trouble with the packouts locking into the plate but my medium toolboxes are locking just fine.Fit and finish is good. There was a blemish on one of the plates but it was not enough for me to return them.These are more expensive than the Milwaukee mounting plates so I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra cost to have metal ones. I’m thinking that the metal ones are a little lower profile, so that would be an advantage.
