Smooth, Sturdy 6” Vise. Built to Last.
I am very happy with this vise. I skipped the description and went off the pictures. I figured It was a basic 6 inch vise at a good price. I bought this to replace a 3” vise. I didn’t realize it was a 28 pound beast. Comes with magnetized rubber jaw covers for more delicate items. A paper with the base bolt hole layout. Also comes with 3/8” nuts and bolts but their threads are coarser than 16 TPI so they’re possibly metric? The bolts can be driven by a 9/16 socket and the nuts are driven by 11/16 socket. Everything looks great. This is a good vise. The jaw action is buttery smooth. The teeth are nice and sharp. The jaw covers fit great and marring the piece is no longer a worry. With this new vise I worry about over tightening. The clamping force is crazy. Its so much bigger and easier to handle than the old vise. I highly recommend getting this 6” vise. Plus the powder coat seems super durable and the color scheme is great.

Good for an inexpensive vise
The Vevor 6 inch vise arrived quickly and survived the trip without tearing its way out of the box from being handled and shipped. No damage was incurred during shipping except for minor paint chipping in a couple of spots. That may have been there prior to shipping though.The good about this vise: Inexpensive; made of ductile iron; appears to be strong and capable of performing the work I intend to use it for (not commercial or industrial use); built-in pipe clamps; came with magnetic jaw pads; replaceable jaw plates; easy setup; and was coated with a preservative oil.The not so good about this vise: Has rough burrs that will need to be filed down; although it was thoughtful for bolts and nuts to be included, they are too short to mount to a one inch table (Really no big deal); no washers included (Again, really no big deal); there is some play in the jaw; and the alignment of the jaws to each other is slightly off; anvil area is smaller than on my old 4 inch Bessie vise.After cleaning the vise, filing off multiple burrs, and applying a thin coat of grease to the swivel base plate/bearing surfaces, it felt nice, smooth, and ready to go to work. Giving due consideration for what this particular vise offers despite its flaws (metal burrs, some play in jaw, jaw alignment slightly off) it is a good buy for the money for “do-it-yourself” type folks. With that in mind, I’d highly recommend it at the current price of $53.49. Thank you Vevor and Amazon for making a needed tool available at a very reasonable price!

Good things come in small packages.
I was shocked by the high quality of this vice, it’s better than other vices I’ve seen costing twice as much and they even give you nuts and bolts to install it on your bench or table! It’s 4.5 inches and weighs 12 pounds works smoothly with no undue force and is just the right size for those little pesky jobs that don’t need massive jaws and the weight of a truck. It’s precisely what I wanted and the price is so low I ordered it at once incase it was a price misprint.

A perfect bench vise for most home owners
This is a high quality bench vise. Probably exceeds the needs of many home owners but for the price, an exceptional value.
