Affordable bike rack does the job.
Simple design, sturdy and a great value. Got me it on Amazon Prime Day for a steal $39. Would buy again if I needed one for another vehicle. Only draw back is the bolt and nut attachment. Would have preferred just a hole to run my locking pin through. This on has a threaded hole that could be drilled out, but I use it as is. Just need a socket and nut handy every time you want to place it or remove it.

Well made, easy to use
I will say it took me about 3 hrs to put together by myself. Iâm pretty good at putting things together, but this had lots of parts and I needed more room than I thought to work with. Fortunately, everything was very well packaged and easy to figure out. I was quite impressed with how well it was wrapped. This thing is solid! It is so much easier for me to load my bike on than the rack I use to have. I have (2) 49lb e-bikes and it carries them, no problem. My ONLY issue is the rubber coating on the hook that holds the frame in place, rubbed off during first use and scratched up the paint on my new bike. I would highly recommend using a floatie or pipe wrap to cover your frame and protect it from the hook scratching it up.

Pretty good for a cheap rack!
This is not a heavy duty rack but for a couple of road bikes or lighter weight mountain bikes and infrequent use it’s just fine. Assembly was fairly easy and all the parts fit well. I had to bend the retaining hooks at the top a bit to get everything to line up correctly and a few of the clamps don’t quite clamp down all the way. Only other concern is that the 2″ adapter is plastic and allowed quite a bit of slop. I had a good aluminum one and with that and a few shims it’s rock solid!

Don’t Buy Vevor
Don’t buy anything named Vevor if you want good customer service. Received this item in reasonable time. You could tell from the crossed out shipping labels that it had been shipped and returned once or maybe twice. Upon inventorying the parts I found one broken. Contacted Vevor CS telling them the issue including supplying the item number and part number. They jerked me back and forth over the period of a week one question at a time instead of telling me everything they “needed” at one time. When they were finally satisfied and stated they’d ship me a new part, they wouldn’t actually ship it to me without a phone number. I guess they’re going to ship it to my phone. Or more likely use it for marketing purposes. Stay far away.To be clear the product was shipped in a reasonable time, was the exact product ordered and seemed to be of generally good quality. Their customer service however gets a big fat zero.

Inexpensive but effective
Bought this because I was told not to carry a carbon frame from the top tube, as our old rack does, but needed to be able to handle a fatbike. It went together super easy, it collapses, it tilts, bike sits rock solid in it, and it was inexpensive. I did have to swap out one bolt that was too short, but I had a spare in my shop that fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend this rack and would absolutely buy another if the need arose.

Affordable, very hard to assemble, some wrong parts
Update: I have to hammer the blocks holding the “arms” that grip the bike, they won’t slide up and down on the assembly after I loosen them (perhaps it’s because it’s been out in the sun and rain? Don’t understand why they don’t want to adjust more easily). Took a short trip with a bike on the back and it seems solid.I just got it put together and put it on the car, so I haven’t used it yet and can only comment on assembly and installation. The instructions called for me to get a couple of tools–I settled on a couple of adjustable wrenches that worked. The pins that came with it were too thick to fit in the openings, so I went and bought thinner ones. I also opted to try to replace as many bolts as possible because of previous reviews about bolt failure. As others have said this was VERY challenging to put together–it took me about three hours, with lots of breaks to puzzle over the instructions and go to the hardware store. I probably spent another $25-$30 on the wrenches, bolts and replacement pins. It looks like it will work, but it’s pretty awkward to install onto the car, and it does seem like there are multiple points where failure could occur. I’ll try to remember to come back and revise this when I have used it!

Easy to use
This bike rack is a great price. To put your bike on, you don’t have to raise it quite as high to put it on. It took a little finagling to make it work perfectly, for example to use one of the straps to attach the bike to the post so it doesn’t fall off. In the assembly kit, the “S” bolt was missing. It took A LOT of requests to Vevor over weeks, but guess what…they finally sent me to bolts from China. So I’m feeling pretty good about this.

I am very disappointed in this product. I used it once and it bent. I had 3 bikes on that were under the weight limit. The bars where you hang the bikes bent. They say it is rv safe. It is not. The whole unit was very wobbly. I had to use ratchet straps from my frame to the rack to secure it.
