Very lovely!
After two close-family car accidents caused by poor drivers, I decided on getting dashcams for my car. I’m a new driver and new to add-ons for vehicles, but this was very easy and convenient to set up! The clips only work on smooth plastic and glass, but they’re durable and haven’t budged yet! Camera quality is lovely and I feel better protected with these little guys! :)) If you’re looking for good duo dashcams, this is worth the money!

Great dashcam for low refurb price
The low price makes this totally worth it! It’s just like new, the audio quality is a lot better than my Blackvue. The rear camera is a lot bulkier than my Blackvue and the app is clunking but It’s not that big of a deal in my opinion. Worth it!

I like it.
Got a new vehicle and decided on this dash cam due to the small form factor. The image quality is great, the hard-wire kit was easy to install if you’ve got a couple hours and are comfortable disassembling some of the interior of your car. The screen is just, but honestly who cares, your not going to be watching anything on the dashcam screen. I love all the different modes, settings and options for parking footage. As I said I’ve got it hardwired and it will run multiple days without draining my battery as there is an auto kill-switch for when your battery drops to a certain level, but I don’t think I’ve ever reached that point. The connectivity is a little iffy, but works in a pinch if you need to pull a video clip to your phone. That may be more an issue with the app than the cam though. Best to just pull the sd card for getting footage when needed. Will probably buy this again for my wife’s car if her old cam craps out.

good for the money.
This is a pretty well-known camera for those who have experience with dashcams. Install was easy enough, though it took me all day because I’m extremely particular about my vehicle wiring. Speaking of install, just get the Viofo-brand hardwire kit. It works perfectly with this camera. The app definitely leaves something to be desired, but it’s sufficient for its purpose. Don’t forget to get a good quality Samsung Endurance SD card, too, and it’s cheaper to get a legit card straight from Samsung than risking a fake from Amazon. Also – “Privacy mode” will only keep two videos at a time. Nothing more. It’s not documented well, either, I had to sit down and go through the manual and various forums to figure everything out. Set some time aside and do that before installing it, you’ll save yourself a headache or 5.And finally, like any other *good* dashcam, this does not have a battery – instead, it uses a “supercapacitor”, which fares far better in extreme temperature swings. After losing power, it stays on just long enough to save a video. Which is perfectly fine. Batteries, on the other hand, really don’t like heat. Or cold. And they pop on occasion.

DOA and arrived dirty
This ârefurbishedâ camera arrived dead and would not power on with any combination of usb cord or power supply, not to mention the only ârefurbishingâ appeared to be new 3M adhesive, lens and screen stickers, but all previously accumulated dirt and dust still came with it free of charge. I have submitted for a replacement and I will update my review accordingly depending on the condition of the next one.

Might be worth getting the hardwire kit but other than that its a great product! Very high video quality it also reaches a wide angle with the rear its a chefs kiss

Opt OUT of Refurb
I have a number of Viofo cameras and they are great. I saw the refurb options and gambled on it. After 2 units, I have determined that there is a reason they are returned -> and it is difficult to re-certify them properly. First Refurb Unit: the first refurb A129 Pro had a physically defective rear camera cable. I did an “exchange for identical. Second Refurb Unit: the rear camera cable was again defective. Cameras and other components worked fine. Conclusion: It was not worth the extra time and effort to try to get 2 refurb units to work. I will only purchase new versions from now on.

Fantastic dashcam
We got this dashcam with the increase of car related issues in our neighborhood. It is a great cost to value product. The only other thing we did, was to get the direct to wire adapter that allowed us to use it while parked. Would highly recommend

I saw that one review where the guy had multiple wire issues when he bought refurbished, but I took the chance and bought it anyways, for such a steal of a price I just had to and wheres the risk when you can just return it.Andddddd, I’m very happy with it, I’ve had it for a few weeks now with absolutely 0 issues, everything in the box was basically brand new, everything wrapped, and it had a lot of extra stuff too including a SDcard reader to plug into your PC. Great purchase, would buy it again if I had another car. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was actually brand brand new.

No issues with pulling footage from my phone. No subscription cost. Video is more than decent tbh

Great 1440p front and rear 1080p camera. The cameras are adjustable vertically which has been great to capture licenses plates when the car behind or front of you is close. You can connect your phone via wifi to imediatly download pictures or videos. The cable is plenty long for the rear so it’s very easy to channel the wire away. Reason why I’m doing 4 star is because of the plastic sticker to stick your camera on came off very easily for the front and back. I’ve reverted it to use the sticky tape that was on the camera to directly put it on the windshields and is now fine.Overall great product!

So far so good. Wifi option connects quickly and allows for quick viewing of videos on the go. Front and back cameras are both clear. Additionally, requires Hardware kit, Fuse tap and fuses if hardwiring to the car.
