Nice upgrade
The Volam 10.25â CarPlay screen completely upgraded my driving experience. Setup was simple, and it connected wirelessly to my iPhone without issues. Great CarPlay
I love the dash cam. Installation was relatively straitforward. The 10.25-inch display is clear and responsive, making it easy to use both Apple CarPlay and IPhone. Connecting wrelessly is quick and reliable. Also 1080p backup camera are fantastic add-ons. The video quality is sharp, both day and night, giving me extra peace of mind while parking. Great screen for older cars.
Picked this up to modernize an older car, and I am impressed. It boots fast, pairs quickly every time, and app switching feels snappy. The screen looks great, bright and sharp, and the touch response is smooth even with light taps. YouTube and Netflix look clean when parked, and maps are easy to read at a glance. Calls sound clean and navigation prompts come through without lag. Setup was straightforward, the menus are easy to figure out, and I was up and running in a few minutes. Value for money is strong; it feels like a full head unit upgrade without tearing the dashboard apart. My ONLY wish is that Android Auto let me customize the layout more, but that is an Android Auto thing, not a knock on this screen.

Huge upgrade for my older car
Installed this 10.25″ screen in my older SUV and it instantly modernized the dash. Wireless CarPlay connects quickly and the screen is bright and responsive. The built-in apps (YouTube/Netflix) work smoothly when parked, and the backup camera is clear with helpful guidelines. Setup was straightforward: power, AUX/Bluetooth for audio, and the camera lead. Voice control handles calls and music without me touching the screen. Installation was very straightforward and my only challenge was connecting to the reverse wire on my car, but that has nothing to do with the unit. This is way better than I could’ve imagined.

Not worth it… In any capacity.
Works… until it doesn’t. Which is often…I buy many of these devices as I have several older cars and I like the convenience of android auto following me from vehicle to vehicle. This one made me curious due to the additional apps on the device rather than just an aux android auto screen. Turns out the cat got what he deserved this time.Android auto runs just fine for about 5 minutes at a time, then like clockwork, the device freezes, becomes unresponsive and will sit there stuttering for about a minute before catching up. At first I thought it was just buffering for the streaming, but no. The whole device freezes. Doesn’t matter what app is running, what you happen to be doing, what your cell service quality it… it just stops working. It’ll come back, then do it again in a few minutes.Over complicating these devices defeats the purpose of these devices and this one is by far the worst I’ve looked at. The additional apps are not necessary when you can’t get the primary function to work properly. Firmware updates don’t have any impact on the issues and for the cost? There are competitive products for half the prove that do a far better job.Skip this one. Its not worth it.

Great screen and size but software/firmware should be better
The display is large, vibrant and a great resolution. The auto dimming option doesn’t work well, so you end up manually having to adjust the brightness between night & day. The setup is easy. BUT the bluetooth will stutter/skip when streaming. You can’t easily display both the reverse camera and Android auto split screen simulataneously. I found work arounds to do it, but it not intuitive. The reverse camera is sluggish to come on, where on a similar device I didn’t have this issue. At this price point it should have a dash cam. It’s a great screen that could use better software/firmware.

Good entertainment system
Pretty good, but I wish you could install your own APKâs. I tried to install like a Chinese Netflix yfsp, and it failed to install. Also, it keeps on trying to connect to my carâs Bluetooth automatically even when I try to turn off it in the settings. Overall – the product works well and isnât very laggy, itâs good for YouTube and Netflix for sure, I donât use it for android auto or CarPlay.

Me animé a probar esta pantalla de 9,26 pulgadas para el coche porque querÃa algo más moderno sin tener que cambiar todo el sistema de audio, y la verdad es que estoy encantado. La instalación fue sencilla, solo conectar y listo, no hay que complicarse demasiado. Lo que más me gusta es que tiene CarPlay y Android Auto inalámbricos, asà que ya no tengo que estar con cables cada vez que entro al coche. La pantalla táctil responde bien, es grande y se ve clara incluso con sol. También he probado el espejo con iPhone y va fluido, perfecto para ver el GPS. Otro punto fuerte es que trae Bluetooth 5.0, asà puedo conectar el móvil y escuchar música o hacer llamadas sin cortes, además de que se escucha bastante bien con el FM o el AUX. Me ha sorprendido lo útil que es poder usar Siri o Google Assistant mientras conduzco, porque asà no tengo que tocar el móvil para nada. En resumen, por el precio que tiene, me parece un dispositivo muy completo y práctico para modernizar cualquier coche sin gastar una fortuna.

Sobald ich ins Auto steige, verbindet sich mein iPhone automatisch und ich kann direkt loslegen. Alternativ lässt sich das Handy auch per Kabel verbinden, falls man möchte. Die Bedienung über den Touchscreen ist sehr flüssig und reagiert präzise â das 9,26-Zoll-Display ist schön groà und gut ablesbar, auch bei Sonnenlicht.Navigation & Musik:Die Live-Navigation über Google Maps oder Apple Karten läuft einwandfrei und ohne Verzögerung.
