Exactly as advertised! Works great!
These screws were exactly what I needed to fix the soffitt on my house. Stainless to keep from rusting and long enough to set well into the ledger boards. I was actually impressed by the quality of the screws because when you buy screws in bulk, you sometimes get screws where they are not well cut/formed. I did not see this in these screws.

truss screws appear to be well made, have not used them therefore I cannot give an opinion on how they perform, product was shipped from amazon and did not arrive when it was supposed to when I ordered them so had to buy truss screws locally to finish project on time

Theyâre definitely good for the money
These are especially good for somebody who goes through them pretty quickly because thereâs a lot of of them Iâm good on self tappers for probably the next year with the amount of self tappers I use

Black self tappers. Hopefully they donât rust.
So I know there are different grades of stainless with some being magnetic and some not at all. I honestly didnât pay close attention to the grade of these screws before I bought them but my usual âtestâ is whether or not theyâre magnetic lol. These being 410 grade are quite magnetic to my surprise, Iâm used to whatever grade, either 304 or 316, we use at work which have no magnetic properties.Either way I wanted these for being black and hopefully corrosion resistant. The self tap feature is cool for light work, thin sheetmetal and such. Some reviews slamming these screws for failing to drill holes in various metals need to calm down. Self tapping screws are not high quality drill bits. Depending on the material you plan to use these with you might want to plan on drilling pilot holes first. I’ve never owned a set of âstainless steel drill bitsâ if thatâs even a thing, so the capability of a self tapping screw Iâm sure is limited.
