Easy to use, great doorbell for the elderly too!
Impressed with this right out of the box. The design is solid and even has built in theft deterrent with being able to attach the outer case to the door frame and also to the camera. The fact that I was able to pretty much turn on the screen and the camera, and was able to use them together immediately (no connecting, no wifi etc) was gratifying. Although you will definitely want to set up the wifi and the app, to be able to receive notifications on your phone and connect in real time, etc.. this system has a lot to offer and so far has been working really well. The camera quality is quite good , although I do wish it was a wider view, and the night vision seems to work pretty good too. Setting everything up was really quite painless, and I hadn’t realized at first that the screen is also rechargeable and doesn’t need to be plugged in constantly.. making it easier to hang it on the kitchen wall (where I didn’t have an available outlet) and in a more centralized location to be able to see who’s at the door more quickly. The doorbell is really loud at it’s highest setting and I absolutely love that you can talk to whomever comes to your door! It’s 2 way so you can actually have a conversation. So far the app and camera have been working well. I am using it at my front door that doesn’t have a built in doorbell (very old house), and it really is a game changer and a huge upgrade from the plain wireless doorbell we had before. The added security of a camera that can record as well as the communication factor really makes this a nice choice for a wireless doorbell, even if you only want to use the tablet screen with it. Nice that they include a SD card for built in storage (no subscription needed). As a security camera it’s not bad, but so far Ive only been able to access saved recordings on the tablet, but maybe I’m missing something. Overall I do like it as an addition to my other security cameras, since anyone in the house can now also see who’s at the door and also talk to them without answering it directly. Very cool and much safer for kids and I can see this being perfect for elderly folks as well!

Camera Not Working
UPDATE: After placing my review the company reached out to me immediately and refunded my money. I appreciate the fact that they cared enough to make it right. The product has worked well for others, I just wish it had for us and our needs. Thank you for restoring my faith in your customer service.I bought this camera in June 2025 to use for security and precaution before I appear at the glass front doors of my work. I read the good and the bad reviews and determined the good for outweighed the bad. Unfortunately, the camera is very sluggish and became sporadic of when and if it would work. Customer service was called and it seemed to help for minute but as of today, it no longer works. Very disappointed in quality and the money that was spent. I just want something to work.

Not bad, not great
Edit: After further testing, I’ve found no way to “playback” video on the Tuya app unless it is something you manually record and save to an album. There is a playback function in the app, but it doesn’t appear to work. If the camera detects motion, it captures only a snapshot. There is no video of the event. If you miss someone ringing the bell, you get a snapshot on the app, but you can only see the video of the event on the monitor display. Had to take another star for this.Overall, I would say this is a good camera that’s more expensive than it should be. It has some useful features, such as the touchscreen tablet, but it could be better.Video Quality: is average to good, IMO. To be fair, the lighting conditions where I have this mounted are not optimal. So, this could be some of my issues. I have found no settings to adjust white balance; only brightness. The night vision could definitely use improvement. I think that for the price, quality should be much better.Sound: The intercom and ring volume are a little low to me, though my hearing isn’t the best. I haven’t had time to adjust it, so I’m not sure if that will help.Tuya app: This is a big plus for this camera. You can get push notifications for motion detection and/or doorbell activity, view the camera, record video, take snapshots, etc. I have several home automation and security products that use this app, and it is great to have everything in one app.Setup: I found it fairly easy to set this up and get it running. I guess it takes some getting used to, but nothing too difficult.Touchscreen tablet: This is an outstanding feature as well. I wish more cameras came with a monitor. The picture is clear; the size is not too big or small. You can access settings, watch the camera and use it as an intercom to talk to someone.Value: This is a big issue IMO. This is a decent setup, but I think it’s overpriced. There are other doorbell cameras that have decent video quality, with smaller monitors that can do pretty much what this does, for a 1/4 of the price. Even ones that are almost identical to this are about $20 cheaper.

Nice! Quality and easy to use!
This is a really good wireless doorbell cam. The 8 inch screen is a nice size, big enough to see clearly but not so big that it feels out of place. The app is straightforward to use and the video quality is clear both during the day and at night. The two way audio also works well which is a plus.I donât get many visitors at my front door so it hasnât been used a ton, but Iâm planning to move it to the side door where most of our packages show up. I think it will get a lot more use there. For the price, itâs a solid option. The quality feels good and you arenât stuck paying monthly fees, which I really appreciate. It gives you the main features youâd want without spending a fortune.
