GREAT COMPANY AND SERVICE!!! Mount and pwr adptr failed, but WOLFBOX quickly resolved this issue.
Camera is good but the mount got lose within a week and does not point straight. I tried to tighten this but it keeps getting lose and pointing almost straight up. If this wasn’t a dashcam and the mount wasn’t so vital to the use of this I would rate it higher but this camera is pretty much useless at the moment because of this. The other issue is the cigarette lighter adapter for power isn’t very secure either and has popped out on its own a few times. If this had a OBD 2 or even a hardwire that would eliminate these issues. I will add an update if I find a mount and power kit for this but really feel this shouldn’t be an issue as I may just look for a new dashcam that has quality mount and power source instead of wasting more money. I will see and update as necessary. Also I had to rotate the video 180 degrees when watching on computer for some reason the video appears normal through the camera and through the app but when I used the SD card on the computer the rear camera was upside down. The video tool I used allows you to rotate the video for free by going to tools>effects and filters>video effects>geometry>transform then putting this to 180 degrees. I hope this review is helpful.Edit: This dashcam is backed by one of the best companies I’ve ever done business with. I reviewed the camera with an honest review and the company immediately contacted me and wanted to resolve the issue. This company stands by there product and listens to the customers to make better products my complaint was heard and addressed and quickly resolved. I am very confident that the issue I had with mine was just a one off. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone searching for a dashcam. Thank you WOLFBOX for resolving my issue and making me feel like a valued customer.

*** Update for 05-18-25 ***WOW !!! – WOW !!! – I’m taking my review back up to 4 stars – not 5 – cause the product isn’t perfect – but 4 because of the OUTSTANDING customer service which WolfBox provides.Their working with me to try to resolve my issues – this REALLY shows that WolfBox CARES about both their products & their customers.NOTE – I “fixed” the floppy problem with the camera:a) went to my Local Lowes & purchased 6/32d stainless steel 2″ machine screw (Hillman #6 – 32 x 2-in Phillips -Drive Machine screws ( 8 -Count ) / Item #409478 / Model #126942)b) purchased Hillman 5/32-in Stainless steel Standard Flat Washer 36-CountItem #409468 / Model #126874c) purchased Hillman #6 x 32 Stainless Steel Nylon Insert Nut (10-Count)Item #409469 / Model #126894The 6/32 Screws fill fit perfectly through the camera mount point – you will need to use a Phillips screwdriver to thread the screw through – use one washer on one end – under the head & the other side were you will use one of the nylon thread nut.NO loctite is needed as the nylon thread nut will hold the camera securely.Tighten as needed – I had to make my fairly tight – DO NOT OVER Tighten or you WILL break the camera mount & probably damage the camera in the process.I then used 3M bonding tape back on the mounting point in my 07 C6 Corvette & re-located the camera to the left side under the sun flap on the passenger side – NOTE – there is a OLD XM Radio / OnStar Antena block – you’ll see it – it’s about 6″ long & about 1″ wide – perfect mounting spot for the camera – with this mounting point – you can protect the camera from heat with a standard windshield sun cover – which there are PLENTY available here on Amazon or almost every conceivable brick & mortar store – or – any – online specialist Corvette parts retailer …I’m willing to go through this pain – cause the camera is THAT good !!!& NO – I haven’t received ANY Compensation for this review or my camera – I bought the camera outright & I’ve also purchased 3 other Dash Cams + a 4K Mirror kit for my 2003 Corvette which I use to have + I’ve also purchased a Sports Camera from WolfBox – so – I’m very familiar with their products & there REALLY good … just had to fiddle with this DashCam to get all the bugs sorted out … which was a pain in the end – but – dang – the Camera Really is THAT good !!!*** Update for 05-14-25 ***I’m taking my review down to 2 stars.Pros:Great sizeVideo Quality is fantasticRear Camera installation was easy enoughRear Camera “can” double as a backup CameraCons:Gets Hot & Shuts Down WAY to FastCools down VERY slowlyCamera Angle Mount is incredibly difficult to removeCamera Angle Screw will NOT stay tight – Camera flops up & all you get is sky – NO actual Road videoI’m ready to give up on this Camera – REALLY Like Products from Wolfbox – but – they REALLY dropped the ball on this one.Sad ;(*** Update for 04-29-25 ***The reality is starting to rub off after a month of use.Found one flaw – which is odd since WolfBox make great products.Issue is – the pivot adjuster has gone bad & I needed to use B-7000 glue to adjust the camera & then glue around the mount sothat it doesn’t flop around.Another issue – which I hope to sort out in the next couple of days is – heat – it’s starting to get warm here in TX & the camera – once it sits in the car – NOT on – doesn’t want to come on – I need to cool the interior down – cooling the camera down & then it comes on – “IF” it gets hot – it’ll turn itself off … thus … I’m going to try a couple of things to see if I can keep the camera cool & if not … then I’ll dump it & look @ another solution & then update this review.Another GREAT Product from WolfBox. Bought a new (to me) 2007 Corvette C6 & needed both a dash cam & reverse camera. Took about 2+ hours to run the cables for power & the backup camera – well – not really a back up camera really – but – it works GREAT as a backup camera. I used a little E7000 glue to keep the rear camera in place sothat once I had pointed down the way I wanted it to – to stay in place. I also used heat shrink tubing to keep the video connection – not going to write up the whole rear camera install in a Corvette C6 – there are plenty of YouTube videos out in the wild that will walk you through the process. Also worth noting – camera works Perfectly with a PNY 256gb ssd card – no issues with format & use. VERY – Very – very good camera …

WOLFBOX i17 Dash camera
The WOLFBOX i17 dash camera is compact in design but hosts many advanced features, including voice recognition and 3 camera recording. The camera set up was straight-forward and easy to scroll through the menu. The pictures are extremely sharp and clear due to the UHD 4K lens, night vision is reasonably bright. The camera is mounted via an electrostatic sticker to the windshield and 3M tape. Connecting the camera to a smartphone via Wi-Fi takes some manipulation.

Great camera and, easy to fit. It can be tilted up or, down but, not left or right. If you want a full front on view you need to mount it in the middle of the windscreen.
