Customers say
Customers find the router bits work well, with one mentioning success with western red cedar, and they appreciate their quality, sharpness, and value for money. The bits are easy to set up and fit well, with one customer noting a snug fit on 3/4″ plywood. Durability and vibration performance receive mixed reviews – while some say they hold up well and have no vibration, others report they break after 3 uses and shake like a jet engine.

Simple to use/
After observing a You Tube video demonstrating tongue and Groove cabinet doors, I purchased Yonico’s tongue and groove router bits. I’ve done a lot of woodworking but have never built cabinet doors. These router bits worked well and saved me a bunch of time.First, they are easy to use. They are designed for 3/4″ stock which means adjusting the height of the bit means lining up the tongue cutter with the top of your 3/4″ rail. It may have been luck, but my first rail cut on a test piece left a 1/4″ on each side of the tongue. Likewise, when using the groove cutter you align your test piece tongue with the router bit. Again, the cut was dead on. With minimal sanding of the rails, I was ready to glue.I used 1/4″ baltic birch for the door insert. It was not as snug as the rail and stiles but was tight enough and left room for expansion. The bits easily cut through Select Pine. The edges were crisp with no tear out at a speed of 12,000 on a standard Skil router. I can’t speak to durability but for these two doors the setup and execution couldn’t have gone better. The bits are heavy and well made. This is a great value, half the cost of other brands but clearly accurate. The simplicity of use is the best characteristic. The only concern is a lack of instructions. However, with you tube there are multiple videos that will walk you through this process of building cabinets.

Wood Joining Must
I have a small woodworking shop at my home, and have recently begun to learn the fundamentals of wood joining. I had used several Yonico router bits for some decorative wood finishing, so when I began tongue and groove joining I wanted high quality router bits to help me accomplish the task. These Yonico bits offered reliable and quality performance, and provided the fastest and best finished product I could hope for. I recommend the Yonico Router Bit product line to everyone! Best of luck! Jim Benson 🙂

Worked fine size is good
I bought these to Machine about 450 feet of one by five one by six one by seven and one by eight spruce and red pine lumber into tongue and V groove panelingRouting went fine other than you really have to tighten down hard to avoid them slipping in the collet. That sucked a bit

Works great.
Gave this a test run and worked great. Good smooth cuts. Now that i have been using these bits to make a table I have more to say.MY test run was on 1×3 pine and the cut was perfect so i moved on to oak.I adjusted the height and adjusted the height and adjusted the height until i needed a beerand no matter how many adjustments I made I was always left with a little sliver uncut. It turns out 1×3 oak is just a sliver thicker than 3/4 pine and these bits are precise for 3/4″ wood.My bad and not a big problem. I just took off the sliver and I’m good to go.My advice…. Check your dimensions and make sure it’s exactly 3/4 before you get frustrated like I did.Stated wood dimensions are not guaranteed.Oh, The bits work great.

Made nice doors!
Nice and sharp. Perfectly sized parts upon assembly. Good value, not a professional, should give me years of use.

They need to order shims if you want a tight fit
Seems to be a good quality and cuts well but the tongue is not adjusted wide enough for the grooves. I had to order shims to space the tongue to make it larger for a tight fit.

Tongue and groove
Used them to match existing tongue and groove boards that were not readily available premade. Worked well

Buenas brocas a un precio adecuado para uso en talleres pequeños con corridas de produccion cortas o para aficionados. La recomiendo, son de buena calidad. No estan a la altura de una Freud o Amana pero son buenas.
