shutters on 4″ microwave vent don’t open like fully like plastic flaps did.

This venet is reasonably well made. For my needs the vent flaps are too heavy as I have quite a long dryer vent pipe run. They didn’t open fully and allow maximum Airflow. I had to revert to the pvc single flap vent that does open wide with the lighter flap.
