Iâm on my second bottle of the YN Protein Bond and it has become a must-have in my nail routine. I use it specifically for my gel-x tips, and the difference in retention is night and day. My nails last so much longer without lifting, and everything feels more secure.The bottle may be small, but you donât need a lot just a thin layer does the job. One bottle actually lasted me quite a while, considering how often I do my nails. WORKS FABULOUS JUST GET IT
This product is AMAZING! I wonât even attempt to do a set of nails without using this protein bond. Iâm not a professional, I just do my daughterâs nails and my own. Using Young Nails protein bond has definitely been a game changer for retention and lifting by the cuticle. My only complaint is the size of the bottle. I wish it was offered in a larger size, but itâs not upsetting enough to drop a star though. I am on my third bottle (many nail sets later) and will continue to buy this protein bond.

Tiny bottle for $16?
This has always been my favorite product and brand for years. Their products are amazing and work extremely well. However im disappointed that i can no longer afford the product for this prize according to the size. I used to buy this for 9-10 dollars which was fine with me but $16?? For the amount?? The bottle is not even two inches tall. Unfortunately i had to switch to another brand. Hopefully one day they consider the amount for the prize.

GAME CHANGER
This product is a game change for a diy nail artist like myself. I would sometimes have issues with my Gel-X or polygel nails lifting after about a week, especially at the cuticles and side walls. Sometimes I would hit a nail or knock it against something and one would come all the way off. *cringe* Since I started using this product, NO lifting at all anywhere. All 10 nails are firmly adhered like cement. I am fairly hard on my nails (open cans of pop, pry things open, hit them) and they stay for 2-3 weeks. Yes, it’s pricey and an impossibly small bottle, but it’s worth it. I gave it 4 stars for easy to use because it’s a tiny bottle and I’m afraid to spill it. And it requires 2 coats so that slows the process down a bit. If you’re a diy nail girlie, buy this! It will change your life!

Total game changer for nail preparation and really helps with product retention. After prepping the cuticle area and nail plate, dehydrate and apply a thin layer of protein bond, working well into the nail plate. Its very easy to use and doesn’t smell bad. Apply your chosen product as usual and bobs your uncle! Now my go to!! It may be a little expensive but its definitely worth it. Its lasts a long time even though its a small bottle and is very effective. Wouldn’t buy any other brand now.

Very strong chemical smells that are not familiar.They changed the color completely and it isn’t nearly as close to the old color. I’m pretty disappointed as the original color was more of a jelly formula and wasn’t as grayish.

I absolutely love this product! I’ve been using it for 2 years and there is a tremendous difference between when I use it and when I use other primers. I’ve used this in conjunction with Young Nails, Luminary and Ugly Duckling gel and acrylic, as well as DND gel polish and there is very little to no lifting when I use it. Using professional quality products with this primer is the trick.AND it lasts forever!
