Unboxed it tonight after realizing my dragons cage was too cool. It didnt work. Not impressed. Says it has a year warranty. We’ll see how the company responds. Will update this post accordingly.My mistake. Yeap it was me. I didn’t program it properly. At 10:30pm I noticed the lights where on. When programming I didnt notice the first setting was what time you wanted the lights off. The second setting is what what time to turn on. I enter the time I wanted it to come on first then time i wanted it to go off. Wrong procedure. I had it completely backwards. Now I’ll see how the temp changes in the tank.

NOT APPROPRIATE FOR BEARDED DRAGONS
1. I love this product.2. Do not buy it for a bearded dragon enclosure.I ignored all the online recommendations about using a tube light for UVB and bought this because I was really impressed with the product and thought I could get it to emit enough UVB rays. I really liked the set up and the temperature gradient in the tank. The clock and timer for day and night work flawlessly. I bought a UVB meter and found very little UVB actually reaching my dragon. I went to two pet stores and all I could find was cflâs for UVB. I bought one of these and added it. The compact fluorescent helped some but even coupled with the mini fluorescents in the Pro Sol fixture, UVBs reaching the basking spot less than 12 inches away were minimal. If you have a dragon, just get a T5 fixture and matching UVB tube to match. Iâve spent a lot of money on different products and learned the hard way. Do not be fooled by pictures of a bearded dragon on all of the products out there. Most of these products out there are good for geckos, turtles, etc., but are not at all suitable for dragons.

Sturdy and quality . Easy to read instructions so you set it up perfectly. No problems so far. Really good heat output . Sleek design and really low profile , the perfect heigh that i needed . The Seperate bulbs are a little expensive and hard to find so factor that in.

Stopped Working after 9 months
Everything was great and working fine. Then it stopped working. The entire display dash lights up and none of the lights work. AND yes, bulbs have been placed correctly.

Great fixture, highly recommended for bearded dragon
Upgraded our bearded dragon to this light fixture. He instantly went into a very hard and thorough molt like I’ve never seen before. He probably feels great. I didn’t have any issues with the timer. I’m not much for instructions so I just figured it out on my own. Had no problems. It comes on every day as it should and it goes off as it should. Also worth mentioning we’ve had A lot of work done on our electric in the house, the power has been off for quite some time here and there. When we plug this back in it remembers what time it is and stays on schedule which is pretty awesome. I’ve never had to reprogram it.

Awesome light! Could put out a bit more heat.
I love the slim design of this light and that it has a built in timer that allows for many different scenarios. I wish it put out just a bit more heat but it does good enough to keep our enclosure just warm enough for Alfred the sophisticated dragon. Fyi you HAVE TO BUY THE ZOO MED MINI HALOS. I learned the hard way.

Waste of money
This is my experience after 1 and a half years of frustration with this product.I had very highs hopes for this light. The idea of having multiple bulbs on a timer all in one fixture is great, but the execution is very poor.First, save the included instructions and tape them to the wall next to this light. You will need these!The timer controls are very unintuitive and you can never really be sure what the settings are. All the settings get reset whenever the fixture loses power.Move the fixture for cleaning? Reset the timer.Power outage? Reset the timer.Power outage you didn’t even know you had because none of your other devices broke? Reset the timer.Light just isn’t working? Reset the timer.You have nothing better to do? Just reset the damn timer!!!My advice, for the same cost you can get 5 timers and 5 fixtures for the same bulbs and avoid this one.

Have wanted this for months now but couldnât fathom dishing out $200 for the fixture then another $100 for lights which donât come with itâ¦.for something this expensive it should come with bulbs. For this reason I have deducted 2 stars. Otherwise itâs a lovely piece, if one can afford it that is!!!
